 | ryper (1) 06/06/2005 | Riftwar is a fantastic series which gets better and better as it goes along. The plot is well developed and the characters believable. Also most of the sequals are really readable (even the series based on the spin off computer game). It's worth reading them in order though or you won't get whats going on and miss out on the backgrounds of a lot of the characters.

 | Lomanoft (0) 05/19/2004 | The only series that I can say that I would love to actually see made into a movie like the LotR series was. Also the only series that I compare to it.

 | Bioninja (0) 06/12/2003 | Great series. Takes a totally different slant on the good vs evil stereotype. Three of the books in the series are written from a woman's point of veiw which is very refreshing.

 | tsaranger (0) 04/24/2003 | Absolutely brilliant!!! I recomend these books to anyone reading fantasy as the plot truly is gripping. Pug (milamber) comes into his own as a fully fledged magician with powers only hinted at at the begining of the first book. Arutha's character also develops and the stories following his family are awesome!!!!!

 | Dibler (0) 04/18/2001 | Pug discovers his magical powers and explores the fantastic land outside the world of his upbringing.
Magician is classic 'coming-of-age fantasy' and appealed to me as a young adults. For older readers I still recommend Feist's work, simply because it is so well written.
