09/30/2004 | Just returned from my third trip there in 12 months. Weird double-security arrangement as you go through full metal and x-ray screening before you can go into the check-in, and then go through another seemingly-identical screening after check-in. No alcohol in the duty free, which has is not quite finished. Multi-airline lounge downstairs OK. Quite attractive crafts on sale. Wines shop OK. Flights have left on time all three times. (2x Swiss, 1x Alitalia)

05/18/2004 | The Airport have 2 terminals, one for arrivals and another for departure.
People in car rent offices are gentle and help you a lot, but be careful, if you rent a car, to take care about scratches, becasue romanian assurances don't cover them.
There is a small box where you can change money with local LEI before the passport control, normally it has the most convenince exchange rate.

08/05/2003 | Bucharest has an OK airport, it's come a long way. Not much of a pretty scenery coming in, be aware of airport workers and taxi cab drivers, they're not the nicest of people. Tke if from someone who's been there twice a year for the past 10 years.
