RUDI IS A FREAK ! I WANT HER ! this is an old story I know, But I just found out Mar 22 2004 Last month, HLN's sports anchor Steve Overmeyer got himself into a marital mess. Recently divorced, he and fellow HLN news reader Tracye Hutchins were once married. By watching Headline News, you wouldn't think that, but they were. Now who would split up this "perfect couple?" Good question. The answer is: Ms. Rudi Bakhtiar. "NO WAY?!" Oh, "YES WAY!" It's true, folks. Sad, but TRUE. After attorneys were contacted, Ms. Hutchins confirmed the long love affair between her ex and Ms. Bakhtiar. As well, Rudi's fiancé discovered her cheating ways 5 months ago and ended their engagement. "shocking" This gets nastier. CNN's HR department are having a tizzy with this one as Rudi Bakhtiar is waging a war of words - via telephone and e-mail - against Tracye Hutchins. Rudi is also threatening Hutchins' job. OMG! I always figured that Rudi was a little "naughty," but not this "naughty." [TVSpy, News Blues] The most ironic thing about this story is in the same month, "CNN Presents" had a special on infidelity. We just can't make this stuff up.

Nice to see Rudi on Fox, what a smart move on Murdock's part. He seems to know what makes success, Rudi will add to that.

Well said! Rudi is THE reason I made a nightly stop at the CNN News channel every night (sometimes for a full hour). Yeah, getting the daily news was 5% of the reason, but Rudi was the other 95%... lol. ;-) I see now that she has joined FOX news in 2006.. so as soon as I can find out when/what she'll be on (there), consider me a faithful viewer. :-)

I started watching Headline News BECAUSE she was there. I stopped BECAUSE she left. 'Nuff said. Real eye candy for the news. HEY, isn't there a channel in Europe that broadcast news in the nude????!

I stumbled on this web site while looking for news. I've been wondering what has become of Rudi Bakhtiar. For several years I watched CNN Headline News regularly. However, after CNN changed from an evening news format to an entertainment tonight format I stopped watching. I liked Ms. Bakhtiar not only because she's attractive, but also because she's intelligent, articulate, and loyal to her school. I hope wherever she is she's doing well.

This lady was the hottest babe on the news. What happened to her? When I first saw her on CNN, I thought she was the most striking newsbabe I had ever seen. I watched her for an hour just because she was so fine. Not only that - but she really is a great news anchor too. Beats the hell out of Rita Cosby!! Bill gates should fire Rita and hire Rudi.
