I was looking for a comfortable walking sandal but these didn't quite fit the bill. The seam on the foot bed rubs very noticeably when i walk. Why do shoe companies make shoes with these big seams on the foot bed anyhow??? i also have noticed pain in my heels--kind of in the Achilles area--after wearing these all day at work. The foot bed is nice and padded, but the other two things take away from the comfort. Since i've worn them now i can't return them, so i guess i will just wear for shorts jaunts. These might work for you if your feet are not very sensitive. And as others have mentioned the back strap is a little loose--even on the tightest setting. Amazon free shipping was a very nice bonus!

I love Clark shoes because of the comfortable soles. This is my second pair of Clarks. The first pair (Clarks Springers) lasted me for several years with almost daily wear during the summer months. I expect this pair of shoes to wear the same. The fit is really good and they are, overall, a very pretty shoe.

Great style but not soft leather, probably they will feel better after using for some time.
