 | Wid71 (9) 05/02/2005 | George was a very talented songwriter. Unfortunately, he was always overshadowed by the monster Lennon/McCartney songwriting team on the Beatles albums. I think this song earned him his place right along side Paul and John.

 | EschewObfuscation (71) 09/21/2004 | George's compositions, coupled with Paul's harmony and that Beatle beat, were shuffled seamlessly into each Beatle album. This was his most famous but he also wrote Don't Bother Me as well as If I Needed Someone. He was, I believe, the youngest Beatle, unable to perform (legally) while they were in Germany in the early 60's because he was underage at the nightclubs. He did anyway.

 | barfooz (0) 12/29/2003 | One of the Beatles' top five songs; an incredible piece of composition for George, whose previous contributions to the Beatles' canon were grand in their own right but do not approach this beautiful song.

 | Jason1972 (4) 09/10/2003 | Frank Sinatra once penned this song as "one of the most beautful ballads I've ever heard." You can't argue with ol' Blue Eyes. It's a timeless classic.
