 | jder (1) 05/22/2003 | what a song. what a voice. the music rolls on stunningly, lifting tweedy's voice -- which so deep and sad here that he sounds like he's patiently waiting to drown -- up above the surface. occasionally, however, the instrumentation comes on so grand and orchestral that i wish i could hear a less-produced version of the song. even this criticism can't take away from the dangerously great lyrics and the overall beauty of the song. this is not my favorite wilco song of all time, but it is still better than great.
