Jesus said to a wealthy Church teaching Prosperity and materialism: Revelation 3:17-20 "Because you say you are rich, you are wretched, pitiful, poor and blind"

I heard Creflo Dollar say have faith like God or the God kind of faith to paraphrase. What was he talking about? This is evidence these word of faith teachers that all say these kinds of things have demoted the Almighty God while promoting faith and the actions of people. God does not need to have anything!!! He needs nothing to sustain Him or this Universe. God made the world and everything in it from nothing! God has All Power and is the Author of Faith. What would God have faith in? Himself?? God only needs POWER NOT FAITH. HIS POWER HAS NO OPPONENT OR LIMITATIONS! I CANNOT BARE TO LISTEN TO SOME OF THESE PEOPLES FALSE DOCTRINES! IF Dollar also thinks Believers in Christ are equivalent to GOD, like some Cults and what the serpent told Eve that she could be, then I would like to see him and the others speak another world into existence, walk on water, go to the Hospitals and clear them out by healing all of the sick people. Dollar, Price, Copeland and Kenneth Hagin Jr. are all growing old, just keep watching them year by year growing older, not younger. We live in a Fallen, imperfect world. All will physically die, from sickness or old age. The good news is, we (those in Christ) will be made new, like Christ and young in Heaven but because of the fall we are all born to die physically on this earth!
His kind of teaching makes some people feel condemned for getting sick or for not being wealthy.
The real Saints (Apostles of Jesus) have all died. Most of the Apostles gave their lives for spreading the Gospel. Some Christians still give their lives in countries hostile to Christian Missionaries. They will never buy fancy cars or Mansions, be rich and have a life of ease when Jesus called them to serve and be among the poor and to take up their Cross and follow Him.

Is Creflo's example and teaching to take up prosperity, buy an airplane or Mansion and be rich like him.? Does he promise riches for sowing seeds into his Ministry? If so he will have to one day stand before God and explain why he twisted Gods words like that. Do people feel they can have what Creflo has by sowing into his Ministry or by the making postive faith confessions after sowing into his Ministry? Oprah's false Pagan teachings like that book she promoted called the Secret and other New Age Philosophies is almost identical to this false prosperity gospel, minus God as the source. I pray Dollar and the other word of faith teachers start preaching the real Gospel. Faith and postivie confessions seems to be replacing Jesus and the Cross. It is because of the Cross we have access to God!
In my opinon Creflo Dollar is only a gold-plated copy-cat Fred Price. They have done nothing but spread condemnation and guilt for not being rich or in good health in the body of Christ just like Jobs friends (read the book of Job). Job suffered and he was righteous and blameless.
Yes Dollar and his other fellow Prosperity teachers may have helped people with itching ears for this world's material goods but a little leaven is still poison. Have Faith in God not faith in your confessions to be rich and in control. You are not GOD (which is Mormon-like thinking).

Dr. Creflo Dollar 2

I was wondering how many people have read the Bible from cover to cover so they can know whether Creflo Dollar is teaching every verse in the Bible correctly without a single error? If anyone thinks they're Minister/Pastor is always teaching every verse all the time correctly without one error, then this belief is the same as the Roman Catholic Doctrine which proclaims the Pope is Infallible (not capable of error)!

The Apostle Paul called a group of Believers named Bereans noble because after he taught them they searched the Scriptures for themselves to make sure what he taught was accurate.
Another instruction was to "study & rightly interpret the word of God". Yet Not many people can honestly say they have prayerfully studied their Bible from Genesis to Revelation on their own. After being told for years that Tithing is still a required New Testament Law but hearing from a few protesters that it is not in the New Testament, I decided to study the entire (KJV, NKJ & NIV -Authorized Versions) Bible for myself. To my stunned surprise the Old Testament Tithing Law is not mentioned anywhere as an instruction to the Gentile Believers in the early Church.

My personal experience is that I have been more blessed financially and otherwise by not tithing or feeling I have to pay God for His favor & blessing. Jesus paid it all & said with His dying breath on the Cross"it is finished, (same as) paid in full". Because of great gratitude, I now want to willingly give more than ten percent when possible but no longer believe that God must be paid ten percent for what Jesus has given us for free. His free gift of Salvation includes favor (means grace) & freedom from curses like sickness, poverty & lack.
Colossians 2:14-15 said He (Christ) abolished, & blotted out ordinances (required laws) against us took it out of the way & nailed it to the Cross. This word Ordinance/requirements"in Malachi 3:7 is the same Ordinance/requirement word used in Colossians 2:14 that He blotted out took out out the way and nailed to the Cross.

"It is finished" means Christ fulfilled the law that we broke by our sins, for whoever has received Him as their own Lord & Savior.

In Acts Chapter 15 verse 10 The Apostle Peter said to Jews insisting that the new Gentile believers in Christ keep the ritualistic law of circumcision & other laws, "Why do you now want to put God to the test by laying a load on the backs of the believers, which neither our Ancestors nor we ourselves were able to carry?"

Acts Chapter 15 verses 18-29 also addresses instructions that the Apostles gave for Paul to take back in a letter to the new Gentile Believers. Again, not one single instruction to Tithe to be in Covenant with God or for His blessing & favor .

If someone belongs to a Group where you are not allowed to ask valid questions, pressured to blindly follow every doctrine and cannot study or search your Bible for yourself, this is a huge sign that you just might be in a Cult.

The Apostle Paul said (in the New Testament) 2nd Corinthian 9:7 " Let everyone give as he decides (purposes) in his own heart, for God loves a cheerful giver?" Notice it does NOT say PAY A TENTH cause it is your duty for God loves a cheerful Tithe payer! How can Pastors that berate people over not paying their Tithes keep a straight face while trying to enforce the tithe law in Malachi 3:7 while mixing these two opposite Scriptures together?

Romans 8:32 said "He (God) gave us His Son will He not "FREELY" give us all things? then "Who will accuse God's elect?" This Scripture is bypassed as Ministers condemn & accuse the Lord's sheep every Sunday at offering time. Shame on them!!!
The Apostle Paul's silence is telling us something. What he is constantly teaching is Grace-(unearned favor).

Tithe promoters also try to justify the Tithe command incorrectly by their usage of Hebrews verse 7. It is accurate that Abraham gave a tenth before Moses gave the Law to a Priest called Melchizedek (Melchizedek is a description of Christ Jesus), But they omit the fact that this was not the Practice of Tithing because Abraham gave Melchizedek a tithe (tenth) one time only! If you give a tenth one time only will they give you credit as a tithe payer. The answer is NO!! They even tell you in order for God to bless you, you must be a faithful & consistent Tithe payer for it to work for you.

Jesus told his Disciples to "freely give because you have freely received".
Paul refused to be paid an ongoing salary according to Acts 20 verses 33 & 34.

He (Paul) said, "I have not coveted anyone's silver or gold, you yourselves know that I have worked with these hands of mine to provide everything that I and my companions (fellow helpers) have needed". Again in 1st Corinthian Chapter 9 verse 12 & verse 15. He also said he had a right to a wage for his preaching of the Gospel but refused a salary.

The entire Chapter of Acts 15 describes which Jewish Laws the Gentiles (not Jews) should keep. Acts Chapter 15 concluded with no mention of tithing at all. Galatians 3:13 said Christ has redeemed us from the CURSE of the LAW" which curse you might want to know is the same curse of the law which includes the Tithe law.

The Philippian Church & also the Macedonians sent money to Paul but it was a Gift not a Tithe. Another misused Scripture to justify Tithing and to fund-raise millions of dollars is "Sow sparingly and you will reap sparingly" but again Paul never tells us how much to sow but leaves it up to the person to decide.

Read the Biography of someone with real faith. The late George Muller, who ran an Orphanage for many years housing & feeding thousands of Orphans never asking for a dime from anyone.
He simply made a decision to trust God and not ask anyone for money although he had ever right to ask for help for these orphans. He wrote that God provided time after time faithfully.

Jesus never had a kind word to say about the Pharisee Tithe payers. Every time Jesus used the word to describe a Tither it was a criticism not a praise, as in Matthew 23:23 where He placed Mercy, justice & truthfulness as priority over the Tithe practice by the Jews (not Gentiles and before he went to the Cross an freely gave us all things ).

People if you sit and let someone tell you you are a God robber or cursed by God at offering time to scare you to make you tithe or because you can't tithe and you don't search the Scriptures Old & New Testament verse by verse, before and after Jesus death, burial & Resurrection for yourself then you deserve being taken advantage of by blindly without question accepting it.

Yet another word-faith false prophet. First Timothy 6 and Romans 16:17-18 commands true believers to withdraw themselves from such people.  We have even confirmed reports that Dollar's church abuses power by obtaining tax records from members. While the purpose of obtaining the tax records is not 100% confirmed, it does not matter. Churches have no reason to review a member's tax records or verify one's income. This is an abuse of power and a red flag of the Dollar empire.

With regard to direct ministry, Dollar preaches of the word and the world hears him (1 John 4). He is, indeed, a false prophet. He preaches decisionism (i.e., the sinner's prayer) and does not preach holiness.

 Praise the lord,

praise God for he is greatly to be praised. you can argue about it back and forth but it always is the same. how many steps do you need to write about sucess? what does a man gain is he gets all the money in the world but loses his soul? my journey with God has taught me somethings I would like to share. we are so blind as a people. so self decieved and we believe if we quote scriptures that we have true knowledge. But the sad part is the sword you are pulling out is only for show and if you can't properly use it then put it back into it's sheath where it belongs. the word is not there for anyone to make money off of nor is does God want  his people to be more concerned about having money all the time. people think a successful ministry is one that makes alot of money, large in size, programs galore, and thousands upon thousands of people. but those are the unsuccessful ones. God's truth is only for the few that is why the road to God is narrow and only few shall find it. Do I believe that creflo knows the word. Yes, I believe he has memorized the sword quite well. Do I believe he uses it correctly.... No. God's ministry was never about constructing a building. but building on people. but we have forgotten that. we recruite people into ministries so they can pay our bills fill our pockets and make our buildings larger. Does anyone remeber the droopy cartoons? there is one in particular i would like to share. droopy was a sheep herder who herded sheep. his sheep remind me of the sheep today. all of his sheep were lined up in straight rows one behind the other. All the sheep kept there heads  down and kept feeding. when he told them where to turn whether it be left or right the sheep never looked up or questioned him the just went where he lead them and when he lead them to the wolf they walked right passed him. But ate his clothes as they were passing by. That is how people are today and yesterday. they don't question.they just keep there heads down and eat. TOday is the day you must choose if you are going to be lead to slaughter or guided to heaven. time is of thew essence. As for me I will let god be my guide. I believe he has ordained a amount of money for me that is more than enough and my blessing will not hinged upon whether or not i sow a seed to someones ministy of 100 dollars or more. For god said what is for me is for me. be blessed and be encouraged

I have no problem with a religiously leader including financial advice into his sermons. I do have a problem with leaders who focus mainly on the finances, with the brunt of it being the flow of the money going into the church coffers.

All I can say is you guys better be very careful putting your mouth on a man of God( Dr. Dollar). He preaches nothing, unless its in the Word. Please read your Bible before you start knocking the message or messenger. For all you guys who are putting your mouth on the man of God, ask yourself this...would God want me to hate on my neighbor? You might need to go back and read the Ten Conmandments. We are NOT the judge, there is only one judge(GOD)! It is said that America is one nation under God, that is so far from the truth, just look around you. Please make sure what you are saying is the truth! If you fast 3 to 5 days water only to hear from God, stay in prayer for days at a time to hear from God, read and study your Bible for hours a day, everyday then apply and obey the Word...YOU HAVE NOTHING TO SAY! People see the glory but they don't know the story. Dr. Creflo Dollar is an annointed Man of God. He is obedient, a tither and a giver. There was a couple of words, that I wanted to say to all of you "unbelievers", but I'm always walking in the spirit so I have to remember the Word says always "walk in love". I'll just pray Colosians 1:9 for you all, that you might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.
Also for the writer that wrote about Dr. Dollar teaching this prosperity message for a while, that all his congregation should be multimillionaire's. I'm sure there are some pretty wealthy in his churches, but for those who aren't there yet...you have to ask yourself what are they not doing, yes they are giving, BUT, are they obeying GOD'S WORD!!! Hmmm something to think about? God can't bless you when you are out of the will of God( commiting adultery, fornicators, disobedient to authorities, stealing from your jobs, having someone punch the time clock for you and your not there, bad mouthing your boss, hating your neighbor, surfing internet for porn, road rage, playing holy in church and the minute you get out your cussing in the parking lot. I can go on and on, but I don't want to forget this one BLASPHEMERS, oh did I say that, let me say it again, BLASPHEMERS!! So maybe there is an area or areas, that they are out of the will of God...because God CAN'T bless you when you are in sin...oh you might receive something that you think it's from God...but it will be there one day and gone the next.
Just wanted to give you guys something to think about, please get the facts straight and I encourage you guys to get up under some good bible teaching like Dr. Dollars, it will change your life!!!
Love you guys

To me, Creflo Dollar is comparable to any ordinary "fortuneteller". If a fortuneteller can seethe future, how come they never hit the jackpot and live out of the fees they charge for their readings? Creflo Dollar has preached so much about money and prosperity that every one of the members of his church should be multimillionaires by now. The fact that they aren't is a slap in the face regarding the false teachings he spews from behind the pulpit. Ah, but of course, he's got a private jet, many luxury cars, mansions, etc. His theology works only for him, LOL.

Creflo Dollar is very much deceived. I don't think he is a scrammer and I do believe he is sincere. He just happens to be sincerely WRONG in my book.. He is not teaching right theology..Christianity is a relationship with God thru Christ. God is more interested in maturing his children into Christlikeness, then he is in making us rich. I think TV evangelists are "ALL" totally wrong in asking for money simply because of the problems it causes as already presented. Carol Olathe, KAnsas

Another Copeland cronie.  And a dishonest one at that!  I heard him say on his program one day that if a his dog found a paper sack filled with money and brought it to him, he wouldn't call the police to report it - he'd just praise God for giving him "found" money!  Gee, that wouldn't bode well for the poor person whose life savings it might have been who lost it!

I've read your posts, and it seems as though you are not the leader of your home.  You attend LCIC because your wife wants to go, then she slaps your hand and overrides your decision on what to give.  You need to man up and start taking charge...in a loving way.  Both of these ministers teach humanism, were it is man centered and not God centered.  Read in the Word what the Holy Writ has to say about wealth, and pursuing worldly gain.  I went to LCIC for years before I pulled myself and family out.

It is very dangerous...and you really need to seek the truth in His Word, and take charge of your family.  By His Word, God would want you to.

1 Timothy 6:5 "...who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain." Actually, read all of 1 Tim. 6 to learn a proper attitude about money. As for the so-called "gospel of prosperity", this verse alone proves it's a big fat lie.
And if you want to give Biblically, give to the poor, the widow and the orphan...see the need, meet the need. DON'T BE DECEIVED!!!!

Creflo Dollar is a man that seeks his own gain above all and has no qualms about telling the world. God wants him to be rich and he wants YOU to make it happen because HE is a MAN OF GOD. But you probably aren't because you are watching him from your 1988 panasonic on a UHF dial. He invests in his own businesses, which conveniently have 501c3, tax free status, so he can drive his luxury cars and live in a luxury estate...all taxpayer subsidised and donor funded. Along with his private jet. Man o God has to ride in style. His gospel is one of conspicuous consumption. Material wealth, health, and possessions are the fruit of being spiritual. Guess Jesus didn't make the cut.

Creflo Dollar is a man that seeks to do God's will first above all things. If you are mad about how God is blessing him, check out how he has blessed others. Much of what you see belongs to the ministry, not to Creflo Dollar personally. He does have a TON of money, don't misunderstand me. God has blessed him well. Check into what he has given out of his pocket against what he gets paid from the ministry. I think you will be surprised. Almost all of the Prosperity preachers have investments in business. That is where much of their money comes from, not all from tithes and offerings. Do some research before you start bad mouthing someone. On a side note, how often do you see the Faith preachers bad mouthing other preachers or their ministries?

It’s amazing how every single evangelist that has expensive homes, etc is considered to be a scam artist. Just because they have money does not make them a scam artist. The richest institution in the world is the Catholic Church. Churches all across this world are some of the most expensive buildings (more expensive than needed for a gathering place); yet these institutions are not judged by the same standards as an individual. If an individual could put the money given through the ministry to better use, could not the institution do the same? Now, many and most of the institutions (such as the Catholic Church) do many good things with their money. How do we know this? Because it’s boasted. What good things do these individuals do? Not really sure because they don’t boast about it. Yet, we are not supposed to boast about what good deeds we do. They do always give credit to God for what they have and that is right to do. What is comes down to is this, people judge individuals (men and women of God mainly) about what they get and what they got, but never mention or take into consideration to what they do and what they give. People also hold individuals to a different standard to the standard of what they hold institutions to when it comes to money.

I’ve personally never heard these people say you MUST give to their ministries. I’ve heard, “whether you give you your church or another, give”. I’ve even heard things like this, “If you are praying for your house to be paid off, sew a seed and make a house payment for someone else who needs it”. Neither of these is un-scriptural.

On a note: 76% of Americans are in debt of other than home and auto. This means that the majority on here judging these men over the money they have are guilty of greed themselves. The lack of patients for that which you WANT to the extent that you purchase it on loan, then complain about the bill you have in getting that which is NOT NEEDED (boats, TV’s, games, toys, motorcycles, hot rods, larger homes then needed, more expensive cars then needed, etc.). You are willing to loose more of what you don’t have (money) to get things that YOU WANT. Greed is greed and you do not have to have money to have the love of money. The Word says to remove the log from your eye before trying to remove the speck from another.

The Bible was written by Jews, in the eyes of Jews. People interoperate the Bible differently; which is seen by the thousands of denominations across the world. Most denominations were formed from splitting from others due to a disagreement in the meaning of scriptures. Who are you to say your interpretation is perfect? Sometimes their interpretation may be off, but that is why the Bible says for YOU to dig into The Word… YOU are to stay in constant communication with the Father. If you listen and disagree on their translation, keep an open heart and investigate it for yourself and if you still feel they missed it, don’t judge them for it because we ALL miss it!

We are to judge fruits, but if you are one saying that a person is going to Hell then you are trying to take the place of God and you are wrong in doing so. Only God as the right to say who is, or is not going to Hell. Be careful in rating on this site that you are not judging that which we have no authority.

Why are people crucifying others? Are we not supposed to pray for even our enemy and do good to those who do bad to us? Examine your heart and be careful the words you speak.

Pray, and dig – dig – dig into The Word. Don’t just read – STUDY

God Bless

I listen to him most mornings before going to work. To those who think he fleeces his flocks: (1) The financial records of his church are not a secret. Have you checked them out before accusing him of fleecing the flock? (2) As C.D. often reiterates, prosperity is not limited to finances, although the financial is one of the areas that will be affected when a person learns to receive blessings from God in order to be a blessing to others. The financial should not be the only area in which C.D. reflects Biblical prosperity, nor the only facet we should note about C.D., or any other person (including ourselves). At any rate, if you think you can get more done for the Kingdom without liquidity than with it, go for it. I'll just keep listening so I can grow more and do more than just feel sorry for the hungry, the imprisoned, & the unsaved around the world, etc.

I think that the majority of Prosperity faith healers are false teachers. Perhaps the only evangelist who is the real thing more than any other internet evangelist is the internet media celebrity, Rev. Dr. Chris Mentillo. Doc has always given back to those less fortunate people who have nothing and whom are poor.

Doc is very blessed himself and has even given away money and Rolex watches, and even cars to people who sow into his ministry. Unlike many prosperity Ministers who just takes and keep taking. Dr. Chris Mentillo gives first. He had 4 mansions, 3 islands, 12 Porsches, 8 Rolex watches. and gives them away to the poor. He is amazing guy. He really is a great guy. I love him so much. God bless you Mentillo.

Even after he has done these things people try to take advantage of him. I think people just get very greedy and try to take advantage of him. This breaks my heart. I think he had a nervous breakdown recently this year. At the end of last year up until now. He had something like an astronomical 7 lawsuits that he mostly won, because these idiots were only trying to steal his money and tried to get away with it. If they were smart they should have tithed. Jerk offs you are to do that to a man of Christ. God is going to punish these people. Just watch.

He is perhaps the only true man of God who takes action on what he says he is going to do
for his Internet members. And his members range from some of the most respected renown Christians and celebrities, politicians, etc in the world. Even the poor who come to him with nothing get blessed through his organization. Like rev Ike in the 70's and 80'. Dr. Chris Mentillo is the up and coming Evangelist of the new century. Like Rev Ike. Dr. Chris Mentillo is based out of Boston and New York. He even donates to the police and politicians thousands. Rev. Dr. Mentillo believes in the bible where it says to give money to the poor. In addition Dr. Chris Mentillo also believes in not being poor himself so that he too can bless those less fortunate. look at all these ministers-celebrities today. Most of them just take your money. This is why Dr. Chris Mentillo is so different because he really does have the gift to bless those with no money and to bless individuals who are sick. 5*'s for the Doc. Sorry but he is not a Pimp but a true real man of God.

This is the Kevin Trudeau of TV evangelism. A guy who can play the followers for idiots. I used to really get angry at what evangelists like Dollar did to their flocks (actually, I still do), but then I began to realize that some of the problem is with the flocks. Those who want to get rich quick, and expect that God will enable them to do just that, probably deserve to be fleeced to a certain extent. Dollar and his followers deserve each other.

From www.inplainsite.org: Dollar has no degree in theology. Much of his prosperity message, according to church and his family members, is based on the teachings of friend and spiritual mentor Kenneth Copeland... And a frequent criticism - that the church refuses to help nontithers - isn't true either, Lett said. Tithers simply "have priority," she said. People are not allowed to touch Dollar during services, she said, simply because "the anointing is flowing at that point." She said the church purchased a Rolls-Royce for Dollar's use because "he deserves the best." The ministry's income is unavailable, but newspaper accounts say the ministry paid $18 million in cash for his new 8,000-seat World Changers Church International on the southern edge of Atlanta. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Mar. 5, 2000 says this: The Rev. Creflo Dollar Jr. has unabashedly embraced his name by building a religious empire on the message that his brand of piety leads to prosperity. He drives a black Rolls-Royce, flies to speaking engagements across the nation and Europe in a $5 million private jet and lives in a $1 million home behind iron gates in an upscale Atlanta neighborhood...Inside the church is a lobby befitting a five-star hotel... There are no visible traditional Christian symbols - no cross, no image of Jesus, no stained-glass windows...Dollar lives in a $1 million home owned by the church in the Guilford Forest subdivision in southwest Atlanta. World Changers purchased another $1 million home on 27 acres in Fayette County in December. The church has amassed a fortune in real estate, mostly in College Park... As World Changers grew, so did Dollar's emphasis on prosperity.

The Bible says 'God will increase my store of seed and that I will be made rich ...'

The Bible does say something like that but it is not a promise for everybody just because they are a  Christian. The entire scripture reads:

2 Cor 9:10-11
10 Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. NIV
The discussion about giving (NOT tithing) actually starts much earlier in 2 Cor 8:1.  It is summarized this way:
  1. 2 Cor 8:1 - 15    Generosity encouraged
  2. 2 Cor 8:16 - 9:5 Titus and his companions sent to Corinth
  3. 2 Cor 9:6 - 15     Results of generous giving

It is incorrect to teach that the verse quoted above is somehow a promise for everyone.  It is not.  What is happening here is that the writer is continuing to explain the benefits of being generous.  It seems it is often taught incorrectly that after God blesses with great  riches that you can be generous.  That is incorrect.  You can be generous while having very little as demonstrated

2 Cor 8:1-2
8:1 And now, brothers, we want you to know about the grace that God has given the Macedonian churches. 2 Out of the most severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity. NIV

Generosity is not something that is reserved for the rich.  The Macedonian church was noted for their 'extreme poverty' but yet they wanted to share in the '... service to the saints ...'.  Generosity is something that everyone can have right now and not wait for some overwhelming blessing from God before being generous.

This is certainly true for Christians that are generous like the Macedonian church.  Their generosity was a result of what was in them and NOT as a result of some preacher promising what they could get in return.

UPDATE: creflo "give me your last" Dollar! Watched him in all his prosperity-preachin' glory today, talking to a small group of people about prosperity, and then he talked about prosperity, and ended the show talking about...you guessed it, prosperity. A deceived woman in the audience gave a testimony about how she doen't mind at all paying tithes and offerings to fund things like kenneth copelands jet plane because it's all going for the "work of the Lawd." They say that there's a sucker born every minute, but I think that number is a lot higher among Christians.

Original: The prosperity message is like an addictive drug, and prosperity preachers like creflo know this all too well. Their followers are addicted to this "gospel," and will fork out thousands of dollars in offerings, tithes and "sown seeds," and buy their books, tapes and CDs just like a crack addict paying for a fix. This irresistible pull has many people strung out on this message, and they'll defend their false teachers like a prostitute defends her pimp. creflo is nothing but a glorified drug dealer

It really bugs me that nowadays you don't need to have a real, hard-earned PhD to acquire the title of "doctor." All you need is for some first-rate huckster to give you a "honorary doctorate," and you can go around and put "Dr" in front of your name to make yourself seem that much more knowledgeble to people who don't know any better. What an appropriate last name this guy has, because that's all he thinks about-dollars.

I dont know about all the name it claim it stuff, but I do know that Jesus said that he come to give us Life and Life more abundantly. Dont you think that would mean abundance In every area of life including your finances. True, your focus in life shouldnt be money, it should be your relationship with the Lord (if your a Christian), but even the Lord knows you need money for your everyday living. The Bible says in Malachi 3:10...Bring ye all the tithes into the store house, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, said the Lord of Hosts, if I (the Lord) will not open the windows of Heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to recieve it. Doesnt LUKE 6:38 also say.....Give, and it SHALL be given unto YOU; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall MEN give unto your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 says....But this I say, He who soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity; for God loves a cheerfull giver. God doesnt need your money cause the Bible says he owns the cattle on a thousand hills, meaning its all his anyway, The Lord just wants his children blessed, and he usees giving as a means to bless his children. Am I saying that if your a child of God and your not rich then your not blessed, NOOO!! Not at all. The Lords blessings can come in many different forms!! All im saying is dont through the Baby out with the bath water, just because some preachers intentions may be wrong doesnt mean they all of them who happen to ask for financial help are bad. Believe it or not it takes money to run a church, they still have to pay the electric bill and up keep of the church and pay staff. My Pastor doesnt take Pay from the church, he has a job outside of pastoring, (Kinda like Paul) but still takes up tithes and offerings for the up keep of the church and the missions, and food bank that our church is involved in, all of which sadly to say takes money. I think Pastors who take money for personal gain hurt the very heart of God and they will have to anwser for it. Dont lump all Pastors, televised or not, into one bunch. God does want his people blessed!! He uses Giving, whether it be your Money , or your time ect. ect.,as a vehical, to see if you will be obedient and also to bless you! It works! The Lord says in Matthew 6:31-33....."Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' (all of which take money) For after all these things the Gentils seek. For your Heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. God Bless you all!! Thanks for your time!

I'm sorry, but he has to be one of the leading false teachers. A lot of what he talks about is based on money. He does speak on some things scriptually, but from what I've heard from him it's very rare. I don't like what I hear from him as it doesn't seem too biblically based. Riches and flash shouldn't be our primary goal as Christians. I don't know where his heart really lies. God only knows that.

Cashflow Dollar is a prosperity pimp to the extreme, and he doesn't seem to care WHAT anyone thinks about his wealth, and how he accumulated it. I saw a Youtube clip where he boasts about being rich. But I can't put the blame solely on him...people apparently don't care about what he does with his donations and tithes, and keep giving him money nonetheless.

It is extremely un-christian, for a person like this to profit off of Jesus Christ. He preys on the weak minded to justify his own existence. His last name is "Dollar" DUH!!! He is manipulating you, trying to take advantage of your personal need for a spiritual understanding. I implore you, read your bible, learn more about Jesus's teachings. Please be your own person, find a church, Jesus didn't ask for anyone's $, so please don't give it away to a fraud like Dr. Creflo "Dollar," please give it to a charity.

I dont think that anyone can blame the Word of Faith or any other preachers that subscribe to tithing (ie go back under the Law.) The Book of ACts itself show the EArly church compelling the Gentile believers to go back under the Law.

James in Acts 15 states to Paul & Banabas? that the Gentile believers at Antiochshould not be circumcised under the LAw of Moses BUT should abstain from meats strangled/blood ( O/T food laws!) ALL THIS AFTER the Lord had told Peter (ACTS10 )in a vision that what he had called cleaned no one can call unclean.

Why did the Elders compell the Gentiles to go back under the Law.? And by Galatians had Peter spoke up ?

I have a few of his teachings. I agree with others. Let God be the judge. God will execute judgment accordingly. We do not need religious police. It seems like if a preacher has money, then God hasn't called them. Do you think just because God called them to preach, He cannot prosper them, the devil is a liar.
