In addition to being a fulltime pastor of a local church, he is the Founder and President of an international ministry --- Leading The Way (www.leadingtheway.org). He has a ministry heart, he is smart, sincere and focused on the right things. He is forward thinking and has a unique perspective on world events. He is worth listening to!

I was surprised how different he was to the other TV evangelists. I sat through his Ephesians 1 sermon expecting that he would (like every other TV evangelists I've seen) jump around like a clown, jump between different passages in the bible and take them all out of context... BUT HE DIDN'T!!

He started with the Jesus and the gospel, he continued with Jesus and the gospel and he ended with Jesus and the gospel. No prosperity, pop-psyche twaddle as far as I could see in that sermon (I have only heard 1 sermon)

After that, I went on the net to check his profile, and I was pleasantly surprised (but not really) that he is a graduate of the highly respected Moore Theological College, Sydney, Australia.

If you think he's boring, I sincerely hope that you are not motivated by the wrong stuff.

My wife and I have watched Michael Youssef several times and are impressed with his teaching of the Gospel of Christ. He is true to the biblical teachings and covers the materials so that anyone can understand them.
God Bless Michael, may he continue preaching and teaching for many years.

My opinion on Dr. Youssef is biased because I do attend his church. I read all of the reviews and I will say this. Arrogant, Dr. Youssef is NOT! He is the only pastor I've ever seen in my 32 years of church-going get on his knees and pray with his congregation. He's always in tears because of his compassion or conviction. Someone said he's boring. Well I'd rather have the truth told to me with less theatrics than be subject to entertaining lies. If you're looking for bible documented truth, then Dr. Youssef is your man!

Michael I find your teachings both unchristian and unhelpfull in any way or form, god is dead to you!

The most unlikely person on paper for me to give 4 stars too. But I also started watching him more and feel he deserves it. 4 stars. One note it's very rare that I can't find some kind of scandal or dirt on someone but so far he passed the test.

Where do I start...

A Christian friend told me about brother Youssef about 3 years ago and he has been helping me grow ever since. I honestly consider (and trust me, I'm VERY weary of people/preachers) him one of the best preachers of our time and can safely say I agree with him 99% of the time.

One of the best sermons you will ever here from him and that will tell you all you need to know about his message, is a sermon he called "We preach CHRIST". Exactly, that is how to share the Gospel...by not removing the central figure of salvation (JESUS the CHRIST)to please those who desire a watered down religion.

He sticks to scripture and is not afraid to confront the lies that are filling so many churches today.

I agree with another person who reviewed brother Youssef, those that have said negative things about Youssef seem to have simply glanced over his preaching which worries me for them because the LORD WILL give us discernment of faulty preachers...and in 3 years, my spidy sense has never tingled...lol.

Wonderful messenger for Jesus Christ. He is not afraid to teach the true Gospel and not suger coat it.

Claims to be Anglican,but I find no resemblence at all,other than holding to the 39 articles of religion,but very LOW,LOW church I guess,He's no different than any other TV preacher,maybe a good motivator,but as for a being a priest and a pastor,first impressions tell me He is lacking.

I have met the man, and I from time to time visit the church of the Apostles. He is very approachable and kind. I have listened to him for years and encourage everyone to tune into all his broadcast if you want the truth explained in a way you can understand it.

The kind of Preacher I have hoped for all of my life. I do not like the Hellfire and brimstone preachers. ( do not care to be yelled at. Dr. Youssef is dedicated, strong in his beliefs and surely well taught in Bible. I give him a 10 but in this case he can only have a five. Can't wait to see his next sermon on television. I even record them to see them later. He is the most dedicated I have seen lately. Makes me wish I could be a part of his church.

NICE MAN, FACTUAL AND SCRIPTURALY CORRECT. JUST A LITTLE HARD TO LISTEN TO. BUT NON THE LESS ANNOINTED OF GOD. HE WAS PLACED ON THIS EARTH FOR THOSE WHO LIKE HIS BRAND OF PREACHING.

He would have to be one of my favourite preachers. I've gotten to know him. His strong convictions are inspiring and I like the fact that he preached a sermon called 'By Grace alone.' He knows the Bible well and handles particular subjects like marriage gently. UPDATE: Now, I would have to say, he would be be at or near the top of my list of favourites. Most preachers think of a topic then use Bible verses to support what they say, but he does the opposite. He gets inspired by a Bible verse or chapter, and does a whole series on that chapter and how the Bible corresponds to that chapter and how to apply it to daily life. He is very intelligent and he always says something interesting. I look forward to listening to him. It is amazing how uncompromising he is to scripture and obedience to God, yet he presents it in such an easy to hear way. A lot of preachers who are 'uncompromising to the truth' are hell fire and brimstone and a real turn off. But he is one of the only preachers I know who is uncompromising and preaches the real Gospel, but presents it in a way where you like listening to it and you don't feel condemned. Another thing I love is the fact that his whole ministry isn't focused on making people happy or surrendering to the world, but it is all about Jesus. He believes that the whole Bible is centred on Jesus. This is a joy to me because there are some religious 'Christian' groups who don't believe Jesus is fully God. They either believe He was actually the archangel Michael or that He is ONLY the son of God, not God the son. Ie He is a separate and inferior being to the Father, not a Godhead.

Very Good! haven't seen him enough to give the 5 Star, but what I have seen has been really good. I heard one of the best Sermons on Providence by him.

He always tells the truth and is careful to back up what he says with Scripture. He even says, I didn't make this up, it's right in the Bible. The person who says he is arrogant has obviously not listened to Michael very often...he is quite humble.

Michael Youssef is the sort of person who grows on you. At first, I didn't think he was very sensative - THEN, I got to know him. I am joyed by his very strong convictions, and love listening to his intellect and deep understanding of the WOrd of God. He makes the Word come to life. What is interesting is he does not condemn yet he is uncompromising in his obedience to God and Scripture. Unfortunately, some people who claim to hold exactly to the Scripture, end up defaming it with their judgemental, condemming attitudes (the Love and Beauty of the Word evades them). Not with this guy! He has said the most uplifting things that I've heard a preacher say. Keep it up and may God richly bless him.

Man truly after God's heart.Teaches directly from scripture and not afraid of hurting people's feelings in order to get God's word out,a preacher must be faithful to God's teaching. God Bless him!

Overall I think he is a good preacher. He is very passionate, very intelligent and knows the Word of God very well. I like listening to his deep understanding. Plus I love his convictions and his strong hatred for evilness, astrology, Harry potter and psychics (doesn't hate the person, hates what they do). He has said things that have really lifted me up(how gentle God is, how much each partner should love each other) and I like the way he proclaims the authority of JESUS and His sacrafice on the cross for us. May God Bless him and continue to show His Love for him.

In these times of copycat, know-it-all, so-called preachers, it's refreshing and wonderful to find one who sincerely preaches/teaches God's Word without all the antics and theatrics of so many of them on TV. He falls in the category of Dr. Frederick K.C. Price as THE BEST!
