An okay character, but never really served a purpose other than to stop Han Solo being a loner before he joined the Rebellion. It was this that meant in the "Expanded Universe" book, "Vector Prime" they took the decision to kill him off.

Rowwwwrrr!! Still the best Star Wars character ever. Just wish we could have seen more of him in the newer trilogy. I guess he's supposed to be a galactic version of Bigfoot? A space sasquatch? Or maybe I'm just thinking too much???
