DT is the best womens basketball player to ever step foot on earth. she is amazing at everything she does on the court. not to mention the leadership she demonstrates with her teammates. she is so composed all the time and i look up to her more than anyone else. i have never felt such a love for the game as i feel when i watch Diana Taurasi perform. From 3-peat to WNBA to the olympics Diana is my hero!!!!

DT is the BOMB. She can shoot pass rebound and play D. She is the best three point shooter coming off screens. SHE is is the whole package. She should be rookie of the year

dee is the best player ever! she DOES play defense, she is so under rated ont the defensive end. maybe her freshmen year she didnt but over the years she has matured. wut about all those blocks? shes not one of the best blockers in uconn history for no reason. stop hatin on dee. as far as her offense ... unstoppable. she can drain the 3 (and i mean nba range 3), post up and do whatever else there is. besides her defense being under rated, the way she makes her teammates better is also under rated. the 04 team wasnt that great, i mean maria conlon as the starting point guard .. please. dee made everyone on that team better and she doesnt have to score to be the player she is. she always makes the extra pass just to get her teammates involved even if she has an open look. the best thing about her is that she puts her team in front of herself. as long as her team wins she is happy. dee is the true definition of a competiter and someone who has true love for the game. dee is the best player to ever play the game!!!!!!

Taurasi is awsome. She scores last second buzzer shots to win the game defends the other greats. 3 national championships (Should have been 4)tell it all.

An incredible, gifted, unselfish player... The 3-peat was no accident! (Beard, for all her talent, hasn't the ability to raise the level of her teammates' games. That's big.) Diana is one of the top 3 ever to play the game.

3 straight NCAA Championship titles says it all. Alana is great, but Taurasi has made UConn the greatest over the past 3 years.

Diana Taurasi is the hands down best player in Women's College basketball. Not saying she the best in history but she's listed as one. She's versatile i.e she can drive, shoot, rebounds, a very good passer, but she can also post up if she wanted to. I hate UConn men's and women's hoops, but you gotta give Diana the respect she deserves. She is the best college player with Alana Beard this year, but she is not as good as: Dawn Staley (Virginia Wahoos) Sue Bird (Connecticut Huskies) Chamique Holdsclaw (Tennessee Volunteers) and no one can ever forget: Cheryl Miller (Southern Cal Trojans) She was better than any female player ever.

The best women's basketball player ever!!! DT has got it all. Alana can't top her; there is no question who is better. There isn't even a comparison DT all the way.

She's phenomenal, and I don't think we've even seen all she can do. She has another year to showcase her talents before she takes on the WNBA.
