Not bad for a guy who was named after a 1979 full-sized Ford-Mercury product.

The character was ok and fairly interesting, and Williams did some pretty good acting in these films- his last big roles before descending into psychic hotline commercial hell ....I wonder how many of those drunks in the creature cantina got hammered and bitched about his birth certificate.

Always watch your back around this guy, because he is not trustworthy.

I guess Han didn't smuggle in enough Colt 45 to the Cloud City...

He's ok, he is not a Han Solo though, lol.

O.K. character to add a little political correctness to the all white original cast.

Lando was basically another Han but without the Princess. A little smoother, a little brighter, but not as charming, not as energetic. If people weren't so focused on skin colour more fans would identify with him, but that's the world we live in. They're both brave, brash, committed (though they may not seem like it) and risk takers (by normal people, non-JEDI standards).

He was damn cool... even if Randy Stradley thinks he's "more important than Chewbacca".

Remember kids, Lando's not a system, he's a man...

He was pretty cool and an all around good guy scoundrel like Han, but it is obvious that he was only introduced because a lot of people complained that there were nothing but white people in Star Wars.
