Sarlacc is the bomb because it eats you over 1000 years.

I'm personally confused how the big hole creature out in the middle of the desert is so highly rated. Is this people's way of enacting revenge on the other characters? By raising this stupid thing so high? I'm confused.

I want a Sarlacc for pit!!!!

I'm not sure how a hole in the ground qualifies as a character. Having said that, it showed more range of emotion and had better dialogue than Binks.

How could this spiked vagina be described as the "All Powerful Sarlaac" when it is incapable of going anywhere or doing anything other than waiting for organic matter to fall or be hurled into it? In order to be digested alive for 1000 years one would have to have a 1000 year lifespan, minimum, and be well fed and nourished the whole time. There are logical problems here, not that George Lucas ever stopped to consider any plausibility whatsoever in any aspect of this series.

Why does this thing qualify as a character? How much personality could it possibly have? I mean it was a pit with teeth. They had to make the damn thing more interesting in the remake by adding tentacles and other crap.

Not really much character development with this one. All we really know is that anyone who falls into the Sarlacc pit will be digested for over a thousand years in its belly. It adds to the mystery of the character that all we see of it is a bunch of big teeth descending down into darkness. I prefer the original version over the special edition version with all the tentacles added via computer.

imagine being digested alive over 1000 years - that would really suck.....this Sarlacc rules.
