Speaking of complete jackasses! After this latest adventure where Mr. Burress shot himself in the leg, one has to believe he has played his last down in New York as a Giant. He just signed a huge contract to play a game many would play for free, if only they had the talent. It’s just hard to imagine having that much talent only to piss it away.

Can't stand the guy but one of the most talented recievers in the league.

6'5 230,4.5 speed...can be dominating at times, but takes plays off sometimes which is a negative

Burress has been underrated for a long time. I thought Eli Manning was bad but he was fifth in passing yards in the 2005 regular season (behind Tom Brady, Trent Green, Brett Favre, Carson Palmer). The reason he was because he had an awsome target that year, Plaxico Burress. He even had more receiving yards than Marvin Harrison, and the all Steeler, Super Bowl MVP, Hines Ward. This guy is good for Eli Manning. He would be at the top if he had Tom Brady or Carson Palmer as a QB.

Pittsburgh fans will get this reference... It's like if somebody put Lynn Swann in another man's body after hitting him with a hammer. He can still make aerial plays, it's just he flops around everywhere while doing it. He's an awesome reciever.

I don't think it is any coincidence that Plaxico's relocation to NY has occurred with Eli Manning's drastic improvement. Burress is a huge target who makes some absolutely amazing plays in the air.

This guy plays like he's in a mosh pit. Good springs but questionable hands. He has neither moves or speed to separate from a defender by doing anything but pushing off and jumping sky high for a ball he may not catch anyway. He's lucky the refs call him soft at home.

This guy has done wonders for my Fantasy Football team. I hope he gets well soon.

Brett Favre could throw to Plaxico Burress, but what difference would it make if Burress kept dropping passes or getting zero yards after the catch? Screw all this if only he had a better QB crap. Also, from the looks of things, this will be his last year as a Steeler. Thank God.

You should see this guy play. I was just at hi game yestreday and I have discovered how he puts up any kind of stats at all. Every time before he catches the ball he pushes off on his opponent. He just started to get called for it.

Scary to think of the numbers this guy would put up if he had a better QB.
