 | lmorovan (12) 06/13/2008 | A good source of fantastic speculation, the site is real and served a specific purpose. The fact that we don't know for sure why and what for they were placed in the manner they are is not enough to make up stories and theories that border to sci fi and mythological stories. But then, they sell good, don't they :)

 | GenghisTheHun (168) 06/13/2008 | A must visit if you ever go to England. The stones came from Wales. That means a trip of about 200 miles from Salisbury Plain. That is incredible!

 | numbah16tdhaha (147) 10/09/2007 | I built it in three days with a platoon of Marines and a whole lotta booze.
UPDATE: We built it for bizarre hazing rituals involving lots of duct tape, chem lights, and football bats.

 | Djahuti (54) 08/04/2006 | I've been there. The vibes are thick enough to cut with an Athame! For years, the "Druids" have laid claim to it,but it goes WAY further back than their tradition.Lots of speculation, but no real answers:a first rate Mystery!

 | Jamie McBain (44) 07/26/2004 | I have always wondered how it was built rather than why. My guess it was originally a ancient calender or a place used to check to see when to plant crops, I could be wrong though.

 | irishgit (138) 01/12/2004 | The biggest mystery is why the builders stuck it in the middle of the most godforsaken part of England.

 | CastleBee (81) 10/14/2003 | This is a really awesome place to visit. When I was there it was misting a very fine rain. It's way out in the middle of what appears to be nowhere and very quiet and peaceful. The theories of how it was built and why are fascinating. Still, it's pretty explicable and not really one of those really weird mysteries that you can't quite put your finger on.
