He`s what I call a singer...Don`t get me wrong, I can appreciate even artists like for instance, Guns and Roses, but please, don`t call those singers when you have Josh Groban. I`ve never seen him in concert so i can`t tell of his artistic qualities and i don`t think he wrote a song but as far as a great singer, he`s surely a model for those pop idols...

Josh Groban has one of the most beautiful and powerful voices of our day. Regardless of your genre preference, almost anyone can appreciate the beautiful songs on this album. I've been a fan of rock/pop genres mostly, but Josh blew me away. I saw him in concert twice also, and he is just as amazing. Five stars, two thumbs up. I am a fan for life.

Josh's voice sends you to a place that you have been longing to go. The passion in which he sings is like no other singer out there!!

He blew me away with his voice! He has such depth for someone so young! I look forward to more from him.

I LOVE Closer. And Closer brings out more of Josh than his first c.d. did. He was sooo much more confortable making Closer and I think as his fans we like to see that Josh wants to come out more toward us.

What a voice! This album and his other one, Closer are the only music I listen too on a regular basis. I can't get enough of his voice - it's spectacular!

This was his first, but not the last. This debut CD made Josh a household name. The young man is incredible! His selection of music is perfect for his voice--so powerful and clear. He can sing anything, but the selections in French, Italian, and Spanish are the most wonderful songs I have ever heard. And he will only get better with time, if that is possible. Go buy his CDs and DVDs to experience this incredible talent for yourself.

Josh Groban,apart from being a terribly handsome man,has the voice of an angel and the lyrics of a genius.His songs have helped so many people in so many ways that its impossible to keep count-i am one of those people....His inspirational songs and phenominal voice saved me from suicide....there's no sugar coating such a thing....He will always and forever remain my favorite singer and if you can see this Josh,i just wanted to say thank you,for literally saving my life....

Josh Groban is the idol of every male vocalist in the world. His range is almost untouchable, his quality is amazing and he is absolutely the most talented singer I've ever heard. I've been on many tours for State choirs and outside functions, and I have yet to hear a better male vocalist. He is the equivalent of Charlotte Church in the female section. Not only his solo sections, but also his harmonic accompaniment throughout numerous duets with some of the industries most prominant powerhouse singers (Celine Dion, Charlotte Church etc..) has made him one of the most diverse singers I've ever come in contact with. He is my idol in the music profession, and I'm only 16! Wonderful, bravo. If I could clap online, I certainly would. Amazing talent.

What a wonderfully, refreshing talent! His musical selections and artistic talent are incredible.(as demonstrated on the Closer cd) He has one of the most amazing voices in music. His ability to reach and affect so many people through his music is absolutely amazing for such a young person. They say, 'the best is yet to come'. No doubt Mr. Groban will continue to blow us away with his phenomenal talent.

The first and second time I heard Josh sing was on Ally McBeal and I couldn't wait until this young man produced a CD. I bought it the same day it was released. What a voice!

this is Josh Grobans debut album, and WHAT a debut it is! passionate, heart felt and touching.. nothing short of spectacular. even if you dont know italian or spanish, the music speaks for itself...wonderful album

Josh Groban's voice is amazing. His songs are passionate, and pleasant to the ear. Even though he sings in Spanish and Italian, you have no trouble understanding the songs' meanings. I think I prefer the foreign language songs to the English ones!

Josh's debut album has moved people beyond words and rocketed him to superstardom! If you like romantic adult comtemporary music then you will love Josh! He is in a class of his own while raising the bar for all others that follow. A must hear have for a music lover's collection.

Josh Groban is pretty good but the only song to REALLY impress me is from Cirque du Soleil called Let Me Fall. Extremely emotionally charged.

I don't believe there has ever been a performer from any genre or time throughout all of history, that could impact so many people, in a positive, uplifting way, with just the sound of his voice. The first time I heard him sing, I stopped dead in my tracks, and was mesmerized. I don't speak Itallian, and several of his songs are in that language, and it doesn't matter. I don't even care what the words are, my heart soars, just hearing his voice.

I have never heard any singer, young or mature with the quality of voice that Josh Groban displays in his widely varied selection of music. His natural ability to interpret a song's lyrics and his passion for the music make him one of a kind in the world of male vocalists, and because he's only 22 yrs old, we can only look forward to more amazing things from him. If I could award more stars, I would, because he's a wonderful human being also. He works very hard to insure he does justice to the languages, lyricists and musicians he works with.

Josh Groban is not only a delightful individual but a breath of fresh air! Already a major talent according to John Williams, who needs no introduction to the music world. Josh is not an opera singer, in spite of being called 'operaboy' by an obviously ignorant talk show host. He never claims to be an opera singer even though the world is already trying to pidgeonhole him in a genre incorrectly. It's refreshing to hear a voice that can sing "Alejate" beautifully and turn and sing Elton John without sounding 'operatic'. Josh is the major new talent of the time!

Josh Groban's voice is a breath of fresh air! I've been a Grobanite for 3 years!! Unlike most of today's pop singers, he keeps his music clean and inspiring! His music leaves you wanting to hear more!

I think Josh Groban is one of the best singers I have ever heard. I listen to his music everyday. I find the harmonics of his voice to be outstanding. Josh has a wonderfully soothing and calming voice. His range is spectacular and his choice of music very appropriate for his sound. Both of his CD's showcase his talents very well and I hope everyone who appreciates good music will sample his unique style.

My comments echo what so many have said when they first heard JOSH's voice - they stopped whatever they were doing to try to find who he was! I think that as "Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder"... so "Music is in the Ear of the Listener"... No one can force someone to like a performer if they are not'in tune' with that performer's style or type of music. I fully respect the choices others make, but I feel that Josh's voice is a welcome 'Fresh Summer Breeze' on the music scene, where so many seek only to fit into the 'popu;ar accepted mold of the day'... He is in a class of his own, for those of us, to whom his voice is an inspiration... Thank goodness we can all have the freedom to make our own choices!

This album is incredible. His voice is far beyond a person of his age. He sings with depths and emotion. I am in awe of him and I find his voice to very relaxing and helps me destress after a long day. I can only hope that his second album will be half as good and it will still be unbelieveable.

Josh Groban has the best voice I have ever heard. Each and every song I hear from him commands total and complete surrender to your inner most emotions. The voice of an angel is correct. So much talent yet he is still so young, I can't wait to see what the future brings for him.

Josh Groban is the most amazing singer I've heard in my lifetime. And please stop attacking him because people think he's an opera singer, he's not, and he doesn't claim to be one. So find a better argument than that please. Let's look at this kids talent, and he's got a whole hell of a lot of it!

I think Josh Groban is a great singer. His songs are beautiful and his voice isn't too hard on the ears. My favorite song is "To Where You Are".

A once-in-a-lifetime voice, and an eclectic collection of songs that sound easier to sing than they are. I'm a classical singer and love Josh's expressiveness, enuciation, phrasing, dynamics and all-around technique. The CD brings to the table a new standard for pop music.

Josh Groban is an angel...voice of an angel, heart of an angel and soul of an angel! Even though Josh has the most beautiful voice I have ever heard in my life, there is still so much more to him. Besides his angelic voice, he is a real, genuine human being. Josh is only 21 years old, yet he has more class in his pinky finger than most of his fellow singers have in their entire bodies...

Josh Groban has the best voice I have ever heard. I would just like to clear some things up for oyu people who only gave him one star. Josh is NOT clasically trained, nor is he an opera singer. With David Fosters guidence he has produces an amazing sound for an amazing cd. He is in a completely different category than Charlotte Church or Pavarotti and Elvis does not compare. His voice is unbelievable, a voice of heaven, not of Earth an thats why definately deserves more that 5 stars.

Josh is a class act!

A voice that has changed my life! In addition his magical voice, he sets a wonderful example for young singers (two of my children) to study their craft and go after their dreams. I've played this CD every day since 12/26/01 and I'm still not tired of it! I've met this young man and he is as charming, polite and generous as his voice leads you to believe. I was also at the taping of his PBS special; a weekend I will never forget

Josh is the awesomest singer on the face of this planet!!!
