UPDATE: Now Bill O'Reilly is cracking back at the NYT, crying hypocrisy because they drew an angry-looking caricature of him last year. Evidently O'Reilly doesn't understand the difference between a drawing and a photograph -- that you can't "alter" a drawing. Nor does he understand that caricature works only with celebrities. The audience knows well that the celebrities don't really look like the drawings of them. By contrast, the only reason Fox put up the images of the unknown NYT reporters was to distort their facial features. With such lies, it is no wonder Fox News is on the decline.

UPDATE 7/9/08: Can you believe these anti-Semites deliberately altered the photos of two reporters this morning in order to represent them as "attack dogs"? And then publicly aired such thoughts as "I wonder if he's going to show him at Westminster this year"? The reporters had written about Fox's declining membership, and so the network responded by grotesquely enlarging their noses (failing, of course, to acknowledge the change): Disgraceful. Were this any other network, such behavior would earn a pink slip tout de suite. Oh wait, I forgot. This is Fox. ORIGINAL REVIEW (3/19/2008): Painfully lame, but then so is almost EVERY morning news show, regular CNN occasionally excepted. Fox & Friends exemplifies the slide of news shows into mediocrity, which began with Regis and has continued with that latest Fox knockoff, the CNN Headline News channel. The fact that the robotic "banter" of these Prozac-fried cornballs is sometimes on the tube when I hit the gym made me almost completely give up working out. Doocy et al. are as cheery and cheesy as the waiter in Office Space who opines that "someone has a case of the Mondays," but on second thought at least the latter can bring me Tchotchke's jalapeno poppers ... I had to look up the name of the other hosts, because the utterly insignificant Brian Kilmeade has been permanently stamped with Stephen Colbert's tag "The guy who is not Steve Doocy" ...

Some people are so full of hatred that they can't even make a difference between a serious event and a joke. Sad, really sad. The show is nothing out of this world, but neither are the others.

I do not have an allergy with Fox.

I love my fox and Friends show. They are funny all of them. They also help me with some medical advice, and teach me more health warnings, and dangers of using electronics. And those hot beautiful women there. But I got punch Steve Doocy on the nose, not physically, but on my TV screen. He just upsets the guests last time, but he is a good funny man who just intertains the audience. All Fox is fair and balanced. The world respected America's news network. To boost the show, and gain some higher ratings, bring along this girl called Courtney in the show.

Update: I don't think that, I could have attacked Fox and Friends shows. And I love their shows. They are friendly and funs to to intertain. Last night was really making sense. Very friendly environment. Top rated show ever, and I love their wrestling and punching. Ring the bell. The gloves are off!

The most UNPROFESSIONAL news show I have ever watched in my life! You have what, an old washed up weatherman, a failed sports reporter and who knows what ED used to be, but she was obviously just as big a failure, and put them together to state their OPINIONS rather than the news, and call it FAUX NEWS NETWORK!! I can't stand this so called news show, the only news they seem more interested in is about celebrities and TV shows. And Kilmeade this guy doesnt have any common sense what so ever they need to drop him.

Can be fun to watch. Doocy and Kilmeade can get some very funny banter going, with Kilmeade usually ending up as the butt of a joke (and smiling all the while). I do miss E.D. Hill during the week and Juliet Huddy on the weekends, but it's still a decent start to the day, or with my hours an end to it. Sometimes they do get a little carried away with the playing and joking around, which makes for an awkward transition when a serious subject comes up.

Oh, and for the record and the benefit of the Yahoo reject... Rupert Murdoch lives in New York.

Once Don Imus goes to work on this program, it will probably become a lot more entertaining. Is it "news"? Of course not! Don't be ridiculous! The Republicans wouldn't NEED the FOX Network if they wanted people to be able to get "the news"! It's a parody of an old Soviet propaganda program.

Far and away the funniest morning show on tv. Doocy and Kilmeade are hillarious and quick witted, as always, but Carlson is no ED Hill. Talk about a 3rd wheel. Almost seems lost at times. Regularly hated on by libs, so it's a must see if your brain hasn't been damaged by years of thinking Letterman is funny and Saturday Night Live rocks. Also, avoid if you think Al Franken has talent, intentionally so.

To be sure, the only thing funnier that early in the morning is a Ted "Every Man For Himself" Kennedy news conference...at any time, on any channel.

I generally like fox but this show is awfull. Steve Doocy is a tool. I thought he was terrible on the weather reports. How do you get a promotion from weather?

Fun show. Delivers the news with a lighter touch than the other shows, who take themselves way too seriously. Brian Kilmeade is a hoot!

Should be called "Fox and GOP Apologists and Mouthpieces"

WE need more of Kiran and Juliette and a whole lots less of Edie, Brian and Steve........I prefer the weekend edition as I think the anchors are more versed in delivering the news and events in the world. I do think that Fox is missing out on not promoting more of Kiran as I feel she is outstanding in all aspects.

With friends like these who needs enemies? Boring, insipid, awful. Shows the base level the discourse has been taken to by the ultraconservative.

Superior than the other morning TV shows with more appealing hosts, a higher level of humorous banter, a lack of liberal bias, and cooler CG graphics in addition to wacky sound effects. But, I rarely watch shows like this anymore.

It's amusing and ED Hill is pretty cute, but it is funny when they have callers call in and trash the news media,UN, and liberals and the hosts act like America has spoken. I bet even the vice pres likes this show

In its own way, Fox & Friends sort of reminds me of the daily newspaper on the front door (or yard). There's the news, entertainment, and editorials. From my viewing experiences of this program, I unfortunately viewed too much discussion and not enough news to start off what appears to be a long journey today. An interesting moment or feature may appear once in a while, but sooner or later you want to consider subscribing to the local newspaper. Here's a small couple of suggestions for what's considered a morning news program: Do not, I repeat do not evoke the competition (broadcast or cable) in a negative fashion on-air and please keep the other definition of fox (females) from reaching our ears.

During the recent hurricanes we went a week without power....I told my husband one day that I missed Steve, Edie & Brian! He wasn't sure who I was talking about and then I told him...They're my friends over at Fox! Yes, I'm a little bit tongue & cheek, but Fox & Friends starts every day for me! Fox Rocks!

Another show on FoxNews that pretends to be 'Fair and Balanced', but in reality, is just a podium to recite Republican 'talking points'. They pretend to be objective, but their whole purpose is to put a negative spin on the Democrats and a positive spin for Republicans. They appeal to Rush's Limbaugh's flock of sheep, the 'Ditto-Head's.

While it may at times lean towards the right, it keeps the news both factual and fun. They occasionally anyalize their stories through casually chit-chat but that's what makes them great to watch.

Fun and informative...and heaven forbid a bit conservative!! Oh my gosh, like I said before the liberals can't handle it!!

Fox is the only balanced, interesting, fun, group worth watching any more. I used to watch GMA (mostly for Charlie out of habit for Charlie and Joan) now I have totally switched to Fox. THANK YOU FOX!

The BEST morning news show on TV. I'm addicted to it and watch it 7 days a week! Finally a network that doesn't kiss the liberal's ass!

Admittedly, most morning TV news shows are fluff and driven by celebrity reporting. As a matter of fact, most programming is utterly useless. Fox & Friends is quite possibly the worst of the pack. Reporting is quite a joke. The hosts opinions are rather lame and uninformed. At least O'Reilly and others on Fox back their opinions with the facts, these people are total reactionaries, good way to wake up in the morning if you ask me.

I have to give this show one big BOO! I am an avid news watcher, and I often tune into fox news. However, I always steer clear of the fox and friends time slot. If I wanted to watch something this ludicrous I would watch the today show. Forgive me for not knowing names, but the blonde woman blurts out her irrelevant opinions offering viewers no legitmate facts to support her views, and the two men seem to be just as unnecessarily opinionated. When I wake up in the morning, I want to turn on the TV and know whats going on. I would rather not have to sort through the nauseating chuckling that eminates from this terribly unprofessional trio.

The hosts argue with the guests about politics. Hosts are supposed to ask questions not dictate answers. I prefer Imus in the Morning on MSNBC. The women are neat to look at but what good is looking so I watch an old cranky cowboy in Imus.

If you want entertainment similar to professional wrestling, this show is the best. For news report, please, are you kidding me? Don't they have no shame with the way they act in front of the camera? I bet 99% of the 5 star reviews came from you know what party faithfuls. Disclosure: I am an independent who voted for McCain.

The personalities of the show hosts are so different. It doesn't seem like there should so much chemistry, but there is. My favorite is Steve, who reminds me of Red Skelton.

FOX AND FRIENDS IS THE BEST!! I love Brian, Steve and E.D. Real people sharing the news instead of corporate robots. Their coverage of 9-11 won me over and I am now a loyal watcher of the trio. In addition, they are concerned about the same things that the "folks" out here are- decency, honesty, courtesy...all the things that other "early" show hosts could care less about. KEEP IT REAL, guys...we love ya!

The listener demographic on Fox's a.m. offering is as low as that for the other Fox offerings. Most of the audience is made up of h.s. grads, with a smattering of bachelor's degree holders, a reasonable number of junior college attendees/graduates and virtually no (less than one percent) graduate degree holders. Median household income seems unable to break through $60k, putting this audience in there with sitcoms. Most of these people are in either straight salaried jobs or sales. Most of them think they are watching news, when in reality they are being manipulated by the Murdoch machine, which uses them to provide a ready market for mass consumer products. Most would be shocked and bewildered to know that in other parts of the world the Murdoch empire is a major pornography peddler (all those bare-breasted page 3 girls in Murdoch's British tabloids) and takes a decidedly different political position from that advocated on Fox News. They would not understand that Fox is positioned to the right in the United States because that's the market niche which was open, not because Murdoch group had any real conservative convictions.

The best of all the morning shows. Good people and interesting topics. However, Brian Kilmeade can sometimes be wrong and wears more purple and pink than Prince.

I am addicted to this show every morning, and I can not start my day without my coffee and watching FOX AND FRIENDS! I used to be an avid viewer of the Today Show, but I made the switch to hear "real" people discussing "real" topics of interest and importance! Thanks so much for another choice of "informative" shows such as this as an alernative from other much more biased ones. Bye-bye Katie and Matt!!!

I agree with axlrod2003, this is the worst news show of them all, you get that Killmeade, who I have to wonder at his IQ, and that ED, who dresses like a streetwalker, and a weather man, and all they do is make personal opinion comments about the news, they don't report it, they SLANT it to their opinions. Sorry, if I want fair and balanced news, I tune in CNN where the reporters REPORT the news, and don't fill it full of personal opinions.

Fox and other narrow-minded rich friends...

Fox and Friends is the best morining news show by far. Good news people, fair and balanced news, and they have very interesting topics every morning. The lady can have her times, but the show is still great.

I have my TV set at this program as a wake up. The overall news and humor has got the others beat, hands down.

I don't see where this show is all that different than the other morning shows on the major networks. I can appreciate that they seem to cover real news more often than fluff (interest stories, sorry) news, but their views and overall delivery remains the same as the rest of the pack. There is very little depth to any morning "news" show on the air today.

The new champion of morning news. Every body else puts me to sleep. Fox & Friends keeps the pace fast, the mood upbeat and has no problem ribbing their colleagues and themselves. Top notch program.

Awful! I cringe just hearing their voices. Thatshe-devil needs to be taken out to the woodshed. President Rupert's little minions sent out to do his bidding. Sickening their self-importance and smugness. BOTH SIDES OF A STORY? The rational side in a sneer, if at all!

Fox and Friends is a GREAT morning show...I get up every morning and can't wait to turn on the TV to channel 58 (NY and NJ) to ED Hill and her two men. Really thought that Brian was terrific when he was in the Far East. And, ED looks just as beautiful as ever, even after 4 or 5 kids!!

Spent 5 days last week at the Hyatt, Newport Beach, Ca.. NO Fox channel, only CNN. I can't describe what it was like. Aaron Brown actually put me to sleep and that's hard to do with bombs going off in the background.

This is the place to see a triple orgasm every time these goonies see war casualties. The woman has yet to complete a full sentance, and the male participants think "guys" is a suitable term for every male guest.

Fox & Friends is the best morning show on T.V. by far!

Honest news and information. You don't have to figure out who is lying or who has an agenda they are trying to get across. You just get the facts. No heavy syrup recipes for over-promoted movies and actors. Just the news. What a relief.

good show. it certainly beats the bolshevik morning coverage of the letter networks... And it truly is fair and balanced, enough said. Compared to any other channel, this is VERY fair and balanced.

the owner of this station sickens me!!! he makes money off of commercializing ostentation--through sex or violence or whatever if that werent bad enough, he goes beyond other stations & he fails to even make a good attempt @ making this ostentation elegant--the only acception in which i find the show worthwhile is boston public

These are real normal intelligent people. Their coverage of the aftermath of September 11 was natural, humane and spoke volumes of their inherent decency and integrity.

I cant go to work without it.
