One name for host....Zain Verjee!!

Personally, I'm glad to see them BOTH gone - I just thought they both took themselves WAY too seriously, and were SO locked into the Democratic party that there was no hope of any other view ever getting fair consideration. Kiran's cute and perky and won't offend anyone with her depth, and John Roberts adds the grey hair on a youngish face that CNN seems to want - if you want serious reporting, you're not going to go to CNN anyway.

With Soledad and Miles the show was fantastic--none of that dramatized unprofessional news. Now it's just miserable like the rest of the news. I watched CNN for a long time. Not anymore. I tried to watch it this morning but went back to my local cable news. What a bad decision by CNN.

Kiran Chetry is annoying and way too biased and John Roberts is obnoxious and weird.

  I liked Miles O'Brien, but I think he is better as a science reporter and maybe a fill in anchor for a week-end.  Could not stand Soledad, could she be any more biased if she worked for Faux News?  Her special where she interviewed the Dem canidates she practically wet her pants introducing Obama and then let him ramble on so he would not have to answer any embarassing, personal questions like she heaped on Hillary!!

But that said, BOTH of the replacements are horrible--gee wiz, with all the money CNN has, can't they find DECENT anchors to do the NEWS and leave the entertainment reporting to twits like Mary Hart and Larry King?????

I do not watch it as much anymore. I think CNN made a very big mistake. I miss Soledad and Miles in the mornings now.

I miss the O'Brien's very much. I no longer watch American morning as I can't stand the guy with the white hair!!!
I switched to watching Robin and Company, although it's not detailed news as American morning.
CNN should have given an explanation to viewers.

I still watch the show, but I miss terribly Miles and Soledad. Where did they go? Does anybody know? I thought they had a terrific stage presence and interacted with each other's sense of humor very well, but always acted approprietly serious when the story deserved it.

NO explaination by CNN why the "O'Brian Twins" were removed from CNN !!

Soledad O'Brien is perhaps the worst interviewer on tv, interested only in the sound of her own questions and not at all in the guests' answers. Yesterday she brought the 6-year old boy whose mother died after his 911 call went unanswered, to tears when she stupidly and unthinkingly asked him if he missed his mother. Her chatter is unbearable and she is no journalist.

I need to get me some Soledad to start the day. Miles, the science guy is great too. Carol costello can be annoying but they balance her out well. Usually a lot more news on AM than the other crapola shows--they don't even do their AM POP segment anymore.

Where IS Soledad O'Brien, by the way? Have I missed something?

CNN used to do news. This show is just a lame entertainment show with a news backdrop. Soledad (what a strange name!) is way over her head. Nobody on this show can do an intelligent interview. They use the same short list of sorry pundits over and over and over. This format was so bad that Paula Zahn had to flee to survive.

GREAT MORNING PROGRAM...lite and not too heavy...just what I need to help me wake up before classes (and the beautiful, Harvard-educated, Soledad O'Brien is an extra bonus)

Great way to get the news in the morning without any fluff like cooking or wedding dresses. And with the added bonus of getting to look at Hemmer for 3 hours every morning - what a way to start the day!

One of the best news programs around, better by far than any of those on the big three networks. O'Brien and Cafferey are excellent, Hemmer is basically a pain.

Jack is cranky, Bill is silly (and can't tell a joke to save his life-what a dork) and a know-it-all and Soley plays referee. And Andy and Dr. Gupta aren't there everyday. These three are fun enough!

Bill and Soledad are fairly good at reporting without bias but please dump jack. I miss Paula but still watching.

I think Bill Hemmer is great , Soledad always seems nervous and angry...I dont think there is any chemistry beetween the two of them at all. They should have given the co anchor job to Daryn Kagan . They seem to have great chemistry. I saw them report on CNN the morning after the New York Blackout in August and thought they were great together

I am not sure if Soledad and Bill can carry this show. There just seems to be absolutely no chemistry between them. I liked Soledad when she was on Weekend Today but not sure if its just me but she seems a bit uncomfortable as new host of this program and sometimes looks angry. Maybe she made the mistake of leaving NBC.

The only thing keeping it from a 1-star is Soledad O'Brien. Hemmer should get over himself and Cafferty is over the hill.

Now that Paula Zahn is gone it's a great show. Bill Hemmer and Soledad O'Brien are wonderful anchors.

I really don't like Hemmer, he is OK at reading the news, but too many times he starts acting like he belongs on Fox & Friends and starts blapping his mouth, and he comes across as dumb as Killmeade does. But I do like the new gal, forgot her name, from NBC, she is the best choice as she seems competant and professional. I hate that Jack, what a cranky old guy, why is he even employed? He brings nothing to the show period!

American Morning has steadily gone downhill. I was a faithful viewer for the past year and a half. There is absolutely no coverage of international news unless we invade a country.. Now that Paula is gone- am has turned into just another version of CNN headline news. What a waste!!

American Morning is CNN's attempt copy Fox New's "Fox & Friends" and does not come close. Paula Zahn is an accomplished journalist, not to mention very "hot", but she seems to be having trouble in an anchor role with contributors around her. This show simply makes me zzzzz.

Great show. Better than the Bush hand puppets at Faux.

You think CNN is biased! You've must be falling for the Fox brainwashing ('Fair & Balanced' wow thats a cover if i ever heard one). Compared to the competition, "Fox & Friends" (who refer to US troops as "our guys"), Paula is a real jornalist.

Should have stayed at Fox, CNN is so Biased. Fox may lean right but they present both sides much better than only liberals. One sided news isnt for me this is america you know.

The only good news program on a 4 am.

The only inteligent news on at that hour. I never miss it.

Paula Zahn is the anchor.....enough said.
