I had a stopover in NYC the other day....and Ive always wanted to try the waldorf astoria. Not the presidential suite of course but a decent room. So I got on Essentravel.com and found a reasonable rate, and I must say, its an impressive hotel. I thought I was in france, the sistene chapel, it was grand!! And the rooms were really opulent, all kinds of great stuff.


Its a rare indulgence, especially in these financial times, but if you want luxury, check out the waldorf.

I had to go to Rye for a quick stopover, luckily Essentravel.com had hotels to choose from on the same day, convinient!! I got the Rye Town Hilton at a good rate which was suprising cause hey, it is the Hilton. And of course it was what I would expect from their hotel chain....good rooms, cordial staff, I was quite satisfied. Cheers!!
