A great governor, if by "great" you mean discrediting the Department of Education, being a hypocrite about taxes, or refusing to fire Molnau as transportation commissioner after the bridge disaster (forcing the legislature to vote her out).

He has had a tough time and done a fairly good job. He has one house of the legislature controlled by the opposition party and that has made it difficult for him.

An ultra-conservative hypocrite. He helped to create a massive budget deficit while he was in the legislature. The state is now paying for that mistake.
