His decisions change with the wind. He has been unable to follow thru with anything except higher taxes.

Rendell used Philly to make himself look good, and now the city is collapsing. He's trying to do the same to the state. Seriously, he wants to sell PHEA, give me a break.

Where do I start? Being from Pennsylvania, I get first dibs on complaining. He's just bad. He did nothing to benefit the state, and everything to cripple it. He cut spending on every organization on the buget. This includes funding for state universities, libraries, etc. Can't wait to see him go.

OK, Let's see. Tax increases on cigarettes, gasoline, cell phones, long distance, also withholding Monies for School taxes causing an average of 9 percent increase to the taxpayer. He is a traitor to the people of Pennsylvania. I will work vigoriously to get him booted on the next election

He is what every state wants in a Governor. He's got the will, the drive, and know what he wants. Philadelphia will always be thankful for all the work Gov. Rendell did as Mayor and the small towns are now getting a lot of the funds they were promised under the HORRIBLE Tom Ridge (you dont want that clueless moron as Homeland Security).

A charismatic and effective leader who will hopefully be able to accomplish for the State what he did for Philadelphia.

Definately not one of the better governors right now. A bit unrealistic, and inexperienced. Spends more time in Philly than in the capitol, has his sights on a national job, but needs to be brought back to reality.

Raised taxes right off the bat, refuses to put limits on legal awards (guess he is paying his debt to the lawyer organizations that supported his election), Doctors are leaving the state in droves thanks to highest malpractice insurance costs in the country (see legal damage limits comment above), PA Turnpike spent tens of millions installing EZPass system and now is offering workers a no-layoff contract, instead raising tolls 44%, Rendell has had cronies hired by that same turnpike, who pays for Fast Eddie and his 100 MPH PA State Trooper driven limos? (Executive 1) Every PA taxpayer. He is killing the state.

Raises taxes, loves big government, has his police escorts drive 90 miles per hour down the Pennsylvania Turnpike, among other various things. Obviously, not a great track record.

Ed Rendell has not impressed me. He seems to be the average tax-happy, big government socialist liberal. (By the way..I am NOT a Republican!) I will commend Gov. Rendell for cutting SOME government waste, and for supporting motorcyclists' right to choose on helmets. He needs to keep up his end of the deal and push for property tax relief! He fought hard for the income tax increase, so I know he has it in him. I would most likely choose any respectable independent, Libertarian, or Republican to replace him in 2006.

As a typical liberal democrat his first priorities were to raise income taxes and payback the teachers unions. In a state that is losing people and jobs, he is the last thing needed.

After decades of decline and mismanagement, Ed Rendell turned Philadelphia into one of the best-run, cleanest, most efficient city governments in America. He was known as "America's Mayor" until 9/11 transferred that title to New York's mayor. Rendell is now trying - with much resistance from the state legislature's entrenched rural/Republican majority - to work the same magic in the Pennsylvania capitol. If he succeeds at the state level as he did in Philadelphia, Ed Rendell may have a bright future on the national political scene.
