DL is a disgrace to not only a respectable news channel but to both black and white americans , his old humor is not funny now , put this tom foolery to an end

I see a lot of you sorry bastards are giving D.L a hard time on running you just don't want to see a black man get ahead that's all that is you sorry bastards....D.L's a great comedian and he would make a great Politician...i mean I think it would be a good thing to have a positive black man on top

he's funnier than gray davis, but not by much.

I see that most of you aren't too keen on D.L. running. But, what you haven't witnessed, like I have, is how passionate he is about the political condition in CA. He is very aware of the issues and has an interest in making things better. He is too busy for this just to be a publicity thing. Yes, he is conceited, and sometimes heartless. But, don't cast him off simply because he is a comedian.

When I first laid eyes on D.L., on The Daily Show, I found him to be incredibly obnoxious (not in a good way) and annoying. His subsequent appearances on Real Time with Bill Maher have only reinforced my initial impression.

He's a talented ENTERTAINER... NOT a politician! AH-NOLD? CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?

I loved his show the "Huleys"

Stating the obvious, but a comedian entering a joke of an election -- How appropriate. But seriously folks, it sucks that phonies like Hughley/Gallagher/Mary Carey, etc try and boost their name ID, get a few stories, maybe a blip in "People magazine -- all at the expense of the integrity of CA's electoral process. I would bet Hughley has never even voted in his life. But don't blame D.L. -- the GOP destroyed California's election process already, his candidacy (and that of others) just makes it more apparent.
