If she were to run, I would vote for her. But since she doesn't I think Arianna is the logical choice.

The farther things go with this recall, it's becoming more and more clear that Ms. Feinstein is the ONLY major CA politician who is going to come out of this thing with her reputation intact. Her position of voting "no" to the recall, and not endorsing or voting for anyone in phase 2 is the only honorable thing to do. As far as her motives for taking the high road on this - that's a completely different story. Politically motivated or not - she is doing the right thing for her, and the right thing for California.

Good for nothing Senator, is a worthy of example of political corruption. Should be tried for TREASON. She forgot to uphold the constitution as she swore to do so.

She's not running; that's great! This Communist put an initiative on the Cal ballot which would have "preserved" some land as a wildlife refuge, costing taxpayers a pretty penny for the Cal Government to buy the property. We taxpayers said NO, and the measure was defeated. Less than 6 months later, Feinstein, in her capacity as a US Senator, pushed through a pork-barrel rider on a bill going through the US Congress to buy that land and make it a "wildlife refuge" at taxpayer expense. So, the taxpayers who didn't want state taxes paying for it got hosed anyway with Federal money being wasted instead of State. Way to listen to the VOTERS! Of course, this didn't get alot of play in the newspapers; the story was buried in the back pages. I hate this smarmy woman.

She's a female Gray Davis. Besides, she and her husband are too busy feeding off the public trough.

As the second-worst California Senator, Ms. Feinstein and her husband have literally made a fortune off of their cozy relationship with Communist China. She deserves to be thrown out on her Leftist behind, along with her cohort Barbara Boxer, not elected to another office! It's a good thing she doesn't know how to play poker. Mr. Schwarzenegger kept his cards close, beating the supposed "veteran politician" (just like he'll do to Gray Davis in October. Not bad for a "rookie". LOL

She should be applauded for her loyalty and willingness to stay above the fray, despite clear opportunity to fulfill personal ambitions. Hey Cruz, look and learn from a real politician who cares more for her State than for her own political future.
