I was at 12 weeks and my jeans were VERY uncomfortable. I ordered this after reading the reviews here but eventually went out to buy my own at Target since this item wasn't going to get here soon enough. Now that I have them both, I love my target one better. It's called a beband and it's made by bellaband. i was a size 2 (preprego) and just went with the smallest size for both products. The beband at Target fit a lot better and for the most part, held up my pants. The trick was to make sure the band went down LOW past my hips and right to the end of my buttocks. Otherwise, I'd always be adjusting it everytime I got up from sitting. This bellyband was WAY too big, even for a small size. And it was not very stretchy so I can't see it holding my pants up at all. The beband at Target was not very tight on me. My running tights felt tighter than these (before prego of course). They were both roughly the same price except with the belly band, I had to pay shipping (so really, the Target one was cheaper). That was my take. i'm going to keep this bellyband anyway and maybe when i get bigger it'll work better. But for now, I was quite satisfied with my Target one. :) Hope that helps.

Love these. They extended the life of my non-maternity shirts for a LONG time. I ended up buying more than one.

This belly band is huge. I'm a 5'2", 125lbs woman and this band covers from the top of my bra to the middle of my butt. It's basically a tube top. And I bought the smallest size but it is still falling down around my middle. Maybe if I cut it in half and wait several more months, I'll be able to use it then.

I found that I had a difficult time wearing some of my pre-pregnancy jeans. Some were a little snug by 15 weeks, others were still falling off. All of the pants I found at the store were about the same, and being a bigger girl means that finding maternity pants is a little more difficult, not to mention unflattering. With this, I was able to half-zip my pants and slip on the band. My pants stay up, they never fall even when I'm bending over. The only annoying part I see is if I'm wearing baggier pants, the band will bunch the fabric and it looks a little odd. It looks weirder trying to fix it in public, oops. It honestly just looks like a layered tee under my shirts, and I don't know what I'd do without it. I'd recommend trying to invest in two though. I wash mine about every two days when it starts to lose elasticity, and sometimes I forget until right before I need to go somewhere, so a second would be nice. It washes well, doesn't fade, and comes back to life straight from the dryer. I love it. It's also long enough that when I give birth and begin breastfeeding, I can pull it up all the way. I can't vouch for anything belly-supporting wise. I have a long torso and wide hips for my son to hide in, so I haven't grown a belly much at all, even this far along. It's worth the money just to keep your pre-pregnancy clothes.

I bought this for my daughter. She is a plus size and it is hard to find maternity clothes for her. she requested the belly band and I was able to order two colors. She loves them!!!
