it deserves a 4 just for the first season alone. i hated the 2nd it lost my attention after the first few episodes. i havent watched the 3rd but i hear its more like 1.

The Wire is a great show. Its a very realistic look at the drug dealing, political, and police scenes in inner city Baltimore. The acting is great and realistic unlike other cop shows. The characters could very easily be real people, instead of caricatures of what they should be.
