Absolutely the WORST host on TV. Sherushesherwordsntoeachother.....sniffs....then... .rushesherwordsintoeachother again and again and again....this rushing together of words and constant deep sniffing is unbearable to listen to. She needs to speak deliberately and clearly, and stop strongarming her guests to agree with her political viewpoints. She also thinks she's the cutest thing that's ever held a microphone. I hope for her viewers' sake that when she returns she removes those ridiculous false eyelashes, too, and stops that ridiculous Samantha Stevens cutsy pootzy squinting of her eyes and crinkling of her nose. By the way, I seriously DOUBT she's on maternity leave. I think she's TOAST.

Rita is well educated and very knowledgeable and well travelled. Wherever she ends up in her career, she will always get 5STARS. If she is married and is expecting this year, she will get 5 more stars. I hope to meet her someday or read about her accomplishments. Pauline

Linda Vester is the reason why I have been a faithful Dayside watcher for some time. The show is not the same without her. I don't watch as faithfully now as I did when she was there every day. I'll await hopefully for her return. Besides being an excellent hostess and interviewer......she's a babe!!!!

She would be great if I did not have impression that she try to manipulate her audiance. She is smart enough to push her audiance always reacts her conservative way. The great journalist is the one who asks neutral questions, without any unbias tone. I do not have any bad feelings against liberal or conservative journalist. But they better present themseves so clearly. O'Reilly dos it and he is great.

I really enjoy Linda. I read she is on maternity leave for a year. I hope she comes back healthy and as lively and spunky as ever. Happy maternity. I wish more of the substitutes would mention her maternity leave so that more people will know. Several of my friends have wondered. So have I.

Sure miss Linda! Although the substitute hosts of Dayside are good, Linda is the best. Its hard to fill certain shoes.

i have noticed that people are rating this show based on THEIR bias...in other words, if one doesn't happen to agree with what they perceive as linda vester's views, then she gets a low rating. why not rate her on how well she does her job, and not on how much you agree with her. she is articulate, professional, and conducts a lighthearted show in a lighthearted way...forget the political rhetoric and be fair...rate this woman on her ability and not on your disdain for her beliefs, or for what you perceive her beliefs to be. the ones who scream the loudest about linda not being fair and balanced are neither fair nor balanced in their rating of her professional abilities. plus, her show is a talk show, and not a news presentation, she is the star of the show, so it is fair to expect some of her beliefs to be expressed...that should not affect her rating tho...if this were a news cast, then perhaps that would not be the case, but since it is just an opinion type editorial commentary, then her opinion is not out of place. in my humble opinion!!!

linda vester is so cute and full of spunk, i love her facial expressions and i think she typifies personality...a TV personality brimming over with personality! i enjoy her views and respect the way she presents them, but my most favorite thing about her is her facial expressions...that is what really makes her unique. now that i hear she is on a one year maternity leave i wish i could bump her up a few start, but i already gave her 5 stars. it is so great for someone to give motherhood the rank it deserves...a career is just a career, but motherhood is the most important job there is. linda, i love you for putting motherhood ahead of your career. i hope it boosts your popularity as absense makes the heart grow fonder. i have really missed you and will be glad when you return, but that baby comes first. good for you!

Folks: Linda is on a 1-year maternity leave! Go to the Fox News website and view the last Vesterblog from 07/01/05 - she tells the viewers/readers there that she is going on maternity leave.

She is sincere, and really knows the subjects she is talking about. Hope she stays pn Fox news til she is old and gray. Where has she been?

Don't you think it's time to share with Fox News listeners where Linda Vester is?? Is she sick? I can't imagine letting her go, unless she got a better offer. She is the best...so natural...not a Barbie Doll like most of the female news anchors. Don't get me wrong, she is nice looking but also has what it takes in the brains catagory!

Linda is outstanding!!! Has great command of a fast moving show. I do have a question however. Where is she? I don't get to watch the show everyday, but always do when I can and I have not seen her lately and I miss her.

Linda Vester presents her conservative, fairly well-researched opinion in a straightforward and usually pleasant fashion. She's on my short list of media professionals I'd like to hang out with, both to talk about the issues and learn more about intriguing personal experiences during a career in journalism. [Regarding other posts about her on RateItAll.com: 1) the two mindless extremes here, namely putting her on a pedestal and endless negative criticism, are biased and inaccurate; and 2) while she is certainly attractive, portraying her as a sex object clearly shows disrespect, ignorance, and an inability to express valid and appropriate concepts.]

Linda's very attractive to watch and listen to (so I give her 3 stars), but that being said, she's a right-wing ideologue!! I have problems with both the left and right so my view is non bias and non partisan! I just think she stays updated on her daily (republican)talking points, and regardless of what's true or false, right or wrong, she will always align herself with the right-wing point of view even when it's flawed and shown to be in error like most partisan's do from both sides; occassionally trying to appear neutral by not giving her total view and refering to the audience(which is probably 98% republican leaning)!!

Can't believe she's rated at 50 something. She's one of the best, and hot to boot.

She would have been great as an extra in an Alfred Hitchcock movie. All I can say is Don't punch the camera lens, it's expensive. Dayside or nightside, this little beanie baby with the big brown puppy dog eyes is nothing but downside.

On the 12 Days of Christmas- it was uplifting in these trying times- it's nice to see journalism take a more positive role than the destruction and carnage that makes dynamic news. For a change, this was to help the country and families of the troops cope with many of the ills of war- like the company willing to send video messages to the troops from their families.

Watched the other day and a guy said something that wasn't in line with Bush policy or lack of and got booed. I think wondered how long it will be before Vester said well the audience doesn't agree with you and of course that was the next thing she said. As if the Dayside Audience at FOXNEWS is balanced with a lot of Kerry voters. Guess I missed something and Bush got 100% of the vote and not 51%. Thanks for clearing it up from me again and again Linda. Your audience of a few dozen people do not agree therefore policy in question is correct and this guy should be put in a padded room. Love the way conservatives at Fox act like your running a fever if you do not share their point of view.

I live in the Uk, I watch Fox News because It makes me laugh. Linda Vester is the MOST BIASED! presenter ever, her every makes me laugh out loud, she does not present both side of the issue all she does is give false hope to a handful of THICK AS PIG SH** about how successfull the war is etc. Please get her off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
