I remember back when Walkman radios were the latest greatest many years ago. And, I have an older version Walkman which is still working fine. I purchased this one because I left my older one at a different location. This is a nice little radio -- very light, etc. I prefer the older version -- it is a little smaller and black rather than silver. But, this one is very good for the price and does the trick.

I like this radio. The sound is good but not great. I like the design. I love that it requires only one AA battery. I will save a lot of money on batteries. One thing I don't like is that when I turn the volume down too low, I only hear sound out of the right headphone.

This little radio is exceptional for its size. Seems to have range beyond many other radios and it stays tuned in when carried in the pocket. For the price, this one would be hard to beat.

Although digital radios are easier to tune I liked this for it's simplicity. One of the drawbacks is that the selectivity isn't as nice as the digitals, although you can playaround with the dial to get the station you want. It's sensitivity is good. I bought a separate pair of earphones with earbuds as I didn't like the one that comes with the radio.

I was looking for a small radio to use at work while I move about doing my tasks. This Sony Walkman is very light, preforms well but be carefull as some work places have a lot of interferance, especially TECH" and Nano businesses. Other wise I reconmend it, it your looking for a portable, lightweight and inexpensive am/fm for your use.
