A pretty decent amber ale that for some reason is about three times as good on tap as it is out of a bottle. Draft is almost always better than bottled when it comes to craft beer, but usually the difference isn't as marked as it is here. Frankly, the bottled stuff isn't worth opening, but I'd be willing to stick my Harp mouth under the tap anytime.

Back when I drank alcohol this was the best beer for all occasions. The local pizza parlor had it on tap! Whoo Hoo! Nothing beats a cheese jalapeno pizza and a pitcher of cold Alaskan Amber! Heaven......

Had some on tap at a Theater-pub. A pretty good craft-brew beer when choices are limited. Goes well with food. A bit light on the hops though. More like three and one-half stars.

Just OK. It's often on sale at Safeway.com and it sounds a bit better than it tastes. Seems more like a mass produced "micro" beer.

I haven't had it in a while but it was never one of my favorites.

Tried it in Bremerton, WA. This beer is awesome. Where can I find in CT?

Bartended at a popular Seattle restaurant and this was the best seller there. Good stuff, watch out for the slightly higher than normal alcohol content ;)

Very good beer. Just a little bitter.

great beer - just tried it for the first time last week in Seattle and I am a believer.
