I can't rate the mother of all western languages and the one with the biggest words variety less than 5 stars. The problem is that for someone non Greek isn't very easy to learn.

Greek is a beautiful language yes, but I'll have to disagree when you say latin comes from greek -- latin and greek are related, and latin acquired a great deal of greek vocabulary, but greek actually belongs to the eastern portion of the indo-european family, latin, the western portion.

Everyone has a hard-on for Latin, while Greek can't get any love. Where the hell do y'all think Latin comes from?Greek is somehow more jolly and fun, whilst Latin is very grave and rigid. I'll take Greek any day over Latin.
