Drysol 5

Hi, I went to a dermatologist the other day & she prescribed the Drysol solution for my HEAVY sweating under my armpits. The 1st night I put it on and went to bed, was a nightmare; I literally cried myself to sleep. But once I arose the next morning, I took my shower, didn't use any other deodorant and was amazed to find myself DRY AS COTTONBALLS! all day long! I was so happy..... I developed a red rash from usage & tender skin, but with care, I'm use it will subside and heal back to normal. This has saved my life, caus in my profession and the type of uniform I wear, a female shouldn't have soaking wet armpits. Now I'm so confident and more outgoing because I know my clothes aren't stained or wet with any odor. Thanks for creating DRYSOL, and it should be featured on a televised program, to inform others. I give it 5 STARS*****.

Drysol is nothing but a MIRACLE!!! I used to sweat so much under my arms, even when I would take a shower, my pits would be sweating like the next 15 minutes or so. My hands were also really wet and they would be drenched in sweat most of the time. Shaking hands, high fives, and holding hands was so emberrasing... =| BUT, I heard and read about Drysol and decided that it was a definite must for me to get it, so I told my doctor about my issue and she prescribed Drysol for me. The Pharmacy gave me Hypercare which is the exact same thing as Drysol, just the generic version, the only difference is the name. IT HAS CHANGED MY LIFE.

The first night, i put a thin layer of it under my arms and dabbed it onto my palms and fingers. It did sting, itch and tingle when I went to bed... but the next day, it was definitely worth it! I can finally wear those cute little tight colored shirts and raise my arms whenever I want and I'm so much more confident now... =) Also, it did make a huge difference on my hands. My hands are dry now but they still feel a bit moist when I think about it. But in general, this product is worth it and if you havn't already, you need to buy it!

This stuff literally changed my life. After I started using it, I didn't have to worry about what I wore or how I looked. Confidence went way up. Trouble was, I was over 40 when I discovered it. I have a lot of bad memories from school etc that this stuff could have prevented. Use it, you really have nothing to lose.

I'm 18 and have found Drysol to be a lifesaver!!!!!!!I started having sweaty palms a few years ago and the last year I noticed it getting worse and worse, I could be cold and would still have puddles in my hands. No matter how much I wiped my hands on my jeans or washed my hands, nothing would stop my sweaty palms and feet! It got to the point where it was unbearable and extremely embarrassing to hold hands with people during prayer, or shake someone's hand, especially trying to hold hands with my boyfriend. Often times I avoided those situations at all costs which really affected my social life. I play varsity tennis and it was hard to keep a racquet steady in my hands and hit a ball at the right angle because my palms were so slippery and the racquet went every which way! My palms and feet would sweat at the most inconvenient moments, and It started to have an effect on my life doing everyday things.

I hadn't met anyone with my problem until about a year ago when the way a friend described it sounded exactly like the symptoms I had. She revealed that her doctor prescribed her Drysol. She said that it had done miracles for her and I resolved to get me some. Unfortunately I waited several months before I mustered up the nerve to go to the doctor and ask for this stuff. But, I finally did and all I can say is WOW! My doctor prescribed it to me and I was able to pick it up at a pharmacy for $10

I put it on the 1st night, and I think I put too much on because alot of it didn't evaporate and dry, but I put the saran wrap on anyways. I slipped my hands into mittens and fell asleep. Unfortunately I was awakened around 3 am because my hands were SO Itchy, I couldnt sleep like that so I decided to go ahead and wash my hands and try it another night. However, even those few hours helped alot. That next day my hands only sweated a little bit. So, the next night I put on less, a very light coating and it dried! I once again put the saran wrap on, slipped them into mittens, went to sleep and that time had no itching or burning whatsoever! I did wake up both times with my hands really wet inside the saran wrap, I'm not sure why, but I just washed them off.

Needless to say, I have not sweated since! My palms are soooooo dry! I love that I can hold hands with people, shake people's hands! It has given me soooooo much more confidence, and one less thing to worry about!

The only other side effect is that it really dries out your hands. But, I just simply use lotion to keep them from cracking and drying out too much. I could never use lotion before either because it always made my hands sweat more, but now I get to use it! I would suggest drysol for ANYONE AND EVERYONE who has a sweaty palm problem! I am so thankful for my friend sharing this with me. Drysol has dramatically changed my life for the better!

Hi there everyone I came out here to check into the reviews about drysol before buying it, I picked it up yesterday and used it last night and I havent sweat a drop yet today. it was a little itchy when i put it on but nothin I couldnt handle :). I wanted to let everyone who is dealing with this embarassing problem to give it a try you dont need a prescription to get it cost me $23 and change. I was kinda leary at first cause I wasnt sure if the reviews on here were actually honest or just people pais to write them but I tried and I am so damn happy today cause for the first time in a loooonnnng time i didnt have to change shirts mid day and wear a sweater. I live in cambridge ontario canada and I bought drysol at beverage and brown pharmacy but I think it maybe at any pharmacy really. I hope this lasts because I have never been so excited to go out and shop and just be out there cause I am not sweating:) hope this helps.
It has been like 20 years since I last felt so free to wear anyhting and I love to shop

Ive just begin using Drysol and im crying thinking about it now.
Im so pissed because for everyone else the results seem to be GREAT. For me, not really. Ive tried using it for 2 weeks. This is what happened:

The first day I got it, I used it at night. It didn't prickle at all. Next day, I washed it off, like instructed, but still found myself sweating. Next day at night I used it again. This time it burnt a little, in the morning I washed it off like instructed, and still sweat throughout the day. The next day the burning got worse. It got so bad my armpits were redder than red. I put on baby powder and neosporin to stop the burning. I cried myself to sleep the pain was so bad. I stopped using it for a week. Now, last week, I tried again but got the same results. The burning, the sweating, it sucks.

Can you guys tell me what you do to get such gud results?

I can't believe how this product works...it's amazing! It does exactly what it says it does. The first night I tried it I did break out in a rash and it was uncomfortable for a while, but honestly, the next day I did not sweat at all. The second night I still experienced some burning, but by the 3rd night I put less on, dried it with the hair dryer and only experienced a bit of tingling. I have not worn deodorant for a week, this has never ever been an option for me. Try this product, it really works. I live in Canada and bought it at the pharmacy in Walmart...the best $$$ I have ever spent!

As all others who have commented, I too have sweat profusely for too long! I tried numerous deodorants and nothing worked. I finally went to a dermatologist and he prescribed Drysol. I applied it the first night and the next day I did sweat, but very little. I reapplied the following night and the next morning; I didn't sweat a drop! I couldn't believe it. I kept checking myself to see if I was sweating and to my surprise, I was not. My doctor has instructed that I apply it twice daily. The first night I used it, it did sting a little, but not too much. I use a hair dryer and it seems to work. The important thing is to use as instructed. Today is day three and this is the longest I have been dry ever!! I recommend Drysol. Like many others, I wish I had started using this sooner, but better late than never.

Im 14 and before i started using drysol i didnt know how to cope. In sports like basketball and soccer it would start with me getting sweaty underarms even before the game. I tried keeping my arms at my sides as much as possible but when i raised my arms i knew everyone could see that my pits were soaking wet. If it was hot in the gym or on the field, i would be soaked in sweat after only a few minutes of playing. Even if i had just been sitting on the bench for afew minutes there would be a puddle of sweat where i sat. In class i didnt put my hand up and wore heavy sweaters as much as possible, which were soaked under the arms by the middle of the day. I didnt even bother going to dances because i went to the first one of the year and i was dripping wet after 5 minutes. It was hard to deal with because most girls dont sweat alot, while i get wet underarms just sitting with friends. Ive tried drysol for about 2 weeks now, but i still have to apply it every night and some days i still sweat through my shirts. Its not as bad as it used to be but i wish it worked better. I also found that putting lotion on after applying it makes the burning go away.

i just went to my dermatologist two days ago and talked to him about my sweating. i wouldn't even wear white it was so bad. nothing worked. i tried certain dri, secret clinical strength and NOTHING helped. I talked to my doctor and was seriously concidering botox injections when he perscribed drysol. i tried it yesterday and wore black and i didn't see any rings. well today i thought i would put it to the test and wore white and there's nothing!! i was so excited i don't have to wear my jacket even if it's killer hott outside because i'm not afraid of someone noticing. it's the best thing i've ever tried!

I'm fourteen years old, and excessive underarm sweating has ruined my life. My arms are always plastered to my sides, because i get the biggest sweat rings. I only wear black or white, and always wear a hoodie over everything. I cant wear tee-shirts because you can see the sweat marks. No deodorant works, and I'm beginning to lose hope. I cant even talk to my mom about it because its so embarrassing. A few days ago, I ordered Drysol online with my moms credit card, and am anxiously waiting its arrival. Does it really work? Or just for a short while? This is my only hope.

Same story-heavy sweater for 40 years-this worked after 1 application-unbelievable. Even when I work out and sweat everywhere else. My concern-is it ok NOT to sweat when exercising? Cant find that addressed anywhere. Otherwise, it is life changing-only wish I had done it sooner!

I used to sweat so bad that I could only wear black or white shirts so the stain wouldn't show! D:

After using this product I've COMPLETELY stopped sweating, it's incredible.

The only bother is that it makes my skin itch and sting if I use it every day and if I stop using it the sweat comes back.

Nonetheless, I recommend this product to anyone with sweat problems.

I used Drysol for the first time for 3 days then last night I slept over at my friends. I wore a white shirt, of course.

But then today, they invited my to come to the mall. But I forgot a change of clothes.

My friend told me I could just borrow one of her shirts.
But the only one that fit me was a bright neon blue one.
I began to freak out in my mind, doubting if Drysol would work for me or not. I thought, what if it doesn't, and I ruin her shirt, and most importantly, have MAJOR NOTICABLE sweat stains all day in the pits!
This would be the test.

Today, I can proudly say, I went ALL DAY without sweating a drop.
It was the happiest feeling in the world being able to wear bright clothing.

My heavens! TRY THIS PRODUCT! Give it three nights of applying it, then see how it works for you!

It kind of felt like I was wet all day, but I constantly checked, and I wasn't at all! Soooooooooooo uber great!

I use drysol too, and the prickling sensation DIDNT STOP. I havent had luck with the hair dryer thing to keep the prickling sensation from bothering me before I fall asleep. But one night on a whim, after I dryed it, when the prickling began I put on my regular deoderant. (The Adidas gel with the cooling effect) and im not sure what really made the difference, but it seemed as though the cooling effect instantly stopped the prickling sensation and I couldnt even notice I had the drysol on. Also after doing that, the next days, I had the BEST drysol results ever! Maybe some would say you shouldnt put one thing on top of the other, but man it has made using drysol A BREEZE!! I do the same thing everytime I use the Drysol and I have the same results and havent had any other side effects!

I used Drysol one time on my armpits just a week ago, and have not sweated since.  Not even during heavy workout.  I love it.  It was very itchy the night I put it on and I almost washed it off but I am glad I waited until morning. Next time I apply it I will blow-dry my pits to make sure they don't itch and I may have rubbed it in when I applied it.  All in all, I am glad I used it.  The discomfort was worth it.

I ruined alot of clothes because of sweating. Since starting Drysol I can finally buy new clothing without worrying about ruining them!!
I have 2 cons: 1. My armpits sometimes will hurt real bad after applying Drysol that I have to wash it off. If you do not experience pain you will probably experience ITCHING!!!
2. You have to apply it at least 1 week to see the results (hard when it hurts), and keep reappling at least twice a week after.
Otherwise great product!!

I have to echo a lot of the reviews here. I lived with heavy sweating for TOO LONG! It limited my wardrobe, made me avoid or sometimes leave social gatherings, it had me obsessed with my sweating("Is it showing yet? Can I wear that shirt? Do I have an extra shirt to change into or a sweatshirt or coat to put over when I start sweating?")and changing clothes several times a day. I kept stashes of anti-perspirants everywhere and applied them every couple of hours to no avail. Nothing worked from the local grocery store or even slowed my sweating down. After searching the internet I found Drysol and it has changed my life. I hate to sound melodramatic about it but it is true. I have been using it now for four months and I don't give sweating a second thought anymore. I don't sweat and only have to apply Drysol now once a week. Yes it felt tingly (pin prick sensations)when I first started using it but the tingling was worth it to me. I could still drift off to sleep (just thought about what the tingling was doing and how it was working) and now I barely notice it. I wish I would have tried this product five years ago. I love being able to buy all colors and styles of shirts. I really love being able to go about my life and not ever worry about sweat stains. It is SAD how much of my time was wasted worrying and stressing about that before!

OMG!!!! I have been subjected to excessive sweating for about 7 months now. I had just turned 13, so there was already enough stress in my life without the sweating. people would make fun of me for wearing the same shirts over and over again, but it was only because they hid the sweat well. Recently I came up with the courage to tell someone about my problem, and my mom took me to the doctor, and she prescribed drysol for me. i was skeptical that this product would work, but it did!!! I now only sweat during physical activity, and i can wear the shirts i onced loved again!!!!! Thank you drysol! You've made my life sooo much better!

I've been using Drysol for about a month and a half, and I haven't experienced ANY abnormal sweating. Although I've heard this treatment losses effectiveness over time, I am completely satisfied thus far. I can feel the medicine working as soon as it is applied, and my skin feels amazingly dryer on a day to day basis.

On a side note, before I used this product, I'd say my underarm sweating was pretty excessive. I'd be sitting in class taking notes and end up with ridiculous underarm stains on my loose, air-breathing t-shirt for no reason. If drysol can cure my abnormality, I have faith it could cure anyone else who has a mild to medium sweating problem.

I've tryed almost every other antiperspirant and nothing work, not even the arm and hammer baking soda stuff. But I was just wondering something. Would I need a PERSCRIPTION for it?? And I know what your thinking a 13 year old doesn't need drysol, but trust me I really do!

I've been using this product for over one year now,and it is absolutely fantastic. Changed my life. UNBELIEVABLE!!

I initially used it two days in a row, and then after that I switched to 2x per week for about 2 weeks, and then I have been on a once per week schedule since then. No sweating in my pits anymore. Ever. I am a distance runner and it even continues to work after an extreme workout.

Simply put it on after showering and before going to bed. Wash your pits in the morning and then apply your normal deoderant as usual (actually, you can use much less of your normal deoderant!).

For those complaining about the itching and burning,it is very important to thoroughly dry your pits. Here is how to prevent it:
1. Shower and clean your armpits.
2. Dry with a towel.
3. MOST IMPORTANT: Use a hair dryer to dry your pits. You can put it on the cool setting and just blow each pit for about 30 seconds. That's it. This will prevent the burning and itching almost entirely (may occasionally experience VERY MINOR itching for a few minutes).

After using this product, I can now comfortably wear any shirt, any material and in any climate and not sweat at all!!

What more can I say about this product!? It really, really works.

Also, I do not bother with the plastic wrap. I simply dab the fluid straight out of the bottle onto my (very dried off) pits. Then I usually wait about 30 minutes before going to bed to allow the solution to dry a bit.

I hope this helps someone.

Good luck!!!

ive had a bad problem ever since the 6th grade, i didnt like the wet feelings under my arms, id try to wear anything that wouldnt show as much, but it always did, and supposed "invisible" solids would miserably fail and after not too long there would be a white ring allll the way down and around from my sweat and deodorant.. so i always kept my arms down and i knew it was there, all i ever thought about, felt uncomfortable around my friends.. id always wear a coat everywhere i went when it would be cool enough to pass it off. the summertime would always be hell for me.. i was supposed to hang out with my friend and i was in my car deciding whether i should go in or not because of my half wet shirt.. i didnt end up going, i txted her and made up a lie about why i couldnt come by.. i really wanted to see her too. i had it so bad, and i read these reviews and i decided to get it, i live in ontario canada, and i just called up my local shopper's drug mart (only after 9 years of putting up with this embarassing crap) and asked the pharmacy department if they had any drysol and she checked for me she didnt have any but she said she would order one for me so i said sure.. this stuff is fantastic, not even 24 hours ago i just applied some with my finger and i took some saran wrap and folded it a few times and kept wrapping it until it was a rectangular pillow wad, you know. it stung yes but it wasnt as horrible as ppl said it is.. the only thing is i first tried it with a q-tip and spread it and right away it turned red and its still red where i used the q-tip so thats when i used my finger. thats why it says three times in bold capitals DO NOT RUB IN ! i noticed a hell of a difference today, i wore this cute shirt today that i've never worn. i was a little wet but just moisture there at the pit but i was so shocked! it said 2 or more treatments will stop excessive sweating, cant wait to see my friends i already feel the self confidence rising! some people seem to be not getting that little sheet of directions.. if anyone still is unsure about the instructions id be happy to copy n paste! i dont know why it took this long for me to discover drysol!!! seriously, drysol!!! not certain dri, this one girl said her pits turned black from using it so i made it a point to get drysol!oh and i spent the same amount for secret clinical strength ($20CDN)i had to buy it on ebay cuz they wont market it in canada and i was desperate and i was too embarassed to go to a doctor! after like 3 days of disappointment, i gave up and my drysol came to the store so yeah.. i love drysol, screw everything else, if you can relate to me.. drysol drysol drysol, its well worth it already!

Looking back at all the embarrassing situations I've been in because of my excessive underarm sweat, I can't help but laugh. Now that I found the solution to a problem only recently I discovered I have, I'm the happiest guy ever!
To think of all the working out I've done in the past 3 years, now I can't wear tight shirts?! come on, it's unfair!
I bought it only three days ago. Irritated the living bejesus out of my right underarm but now it's better. Plus, it kept me dry as a bone today...I didn't sweat for a second today!

So if you have axillary hyperhydrosis, don't worry. Many solutions exist, from the awesome Drysol (and Maxim - if you don't have a prescription) to the rather invasive ETS; your choice and your right. It's your lifestyle that's on the line here and it shouldn'be be impaired because of a silly disorder like that. Good luck!

Drysol 4

Hi, I just bought drysol and tried it last night, it seemed to work today, but I have a headache (could be unrelated). Also, it says not to use if you plan on becoming pregnant. I want to get pregnant some time this year, does anyone know if this stuff stays in your system forever, or if you can stop using it and then get pregnant? Any help would be great!

I have a question about Drysol. I'm planning on purchasing Drysol and I understand that you need to apply it at night before bed but I get up first thing in the morning and spend an hour working out. Will Drysol continue working throughout the day even after a hard workout in the morning without reapplying??

hi, well I started my treatment last night..today I'm pretty dry so far...a little damp...but not how I was. I guess a few more and I'll be ok. Now it says not to use any other ones while using this one...does that mean I can't use a deodorant during the day? Anyone know?

Hi fellas, please answer my questions :)

I've only been using drysol for 4 days now, every night. It hasn't helped that much. I still get sweaty pits.

1. How do I use the plastic wrap? It keeps wrinkling and I end up not using it. I only use a tight shirt now when I go to bed.

2. I hear we're not supposed to use it every night. But I've been using it 4 nights straight and I'm not dry yet, altho I notice a slight improvement. (im a heavy sweater)

3. How much drysol do I need to apply? I dont have the dab-on.. So far I'm using 12 drops on each armpit. Quite a lot.

4. Is there a danger of overdose? As i am using quite alotta drysol on each pit. 12 drops to be precise (4 drops , 3 time applications)

THanks in advance friends

first off, i sweat pretty bad, whether im sitting there in a crowd, hot, cold, when im nervous, or just bored, i sweat. Unlike most of you, i dont have sweaty palms or armpits, my sweat comes from my face/head, chest and sometimes back. I used the drysol on my chest and forehead and im not sweating. my forehead is paper dry and my chest is slightly, and i emphasize slightly damp. This is only after using it once, and I didn't apply much either. its been 3 days and it's still working. for those in the USA, like myself, order online. Yes, you can get it WITHOUT a prescription online, thats how I got mine.

Hi guys,
I just got this product today but there is no pamplet telling me how to apply. It looks like a bottle of lotion, so do I just squeeze out a dollopand rub it into my armpits like lotion? thanks

OMIGOD, i CANNOT believe this product! i'm a sort of person who sweats without doing anything, sitting down watching tv makes me wet under my arms. I bought the product just yesterday and i used it overnight and WOW- no sweat AT ALL today. i wore a grey shirt too, no wetness seen or felt! i was a bit confused on how to use it, but overall it pulled through. i keep hearing about PAIN and things, which i haven't gotten. What i did was put lotion around the sides! NO SWEAT- thanx alot DRYSOL!yay!

Hello everybody.
I suffer from hyperhydrosis many years now. I am frustrated. Day by day i become less confident about myself. I avoid getting out a lot, i am getting less and less socialized, which led me even to loose my girlfriend.. i wear only white and synthetic clothes, IT IS RUINING MY LIFE(like a lot others' here)
I haven't tried this product.
I want to ask you honestly!
Is there a chance to help me???
I am not afraid of loosing my money. Who cares about 30 $ if your whole life changes?? I am afraid of what will happen if the product won't help me. I am going to be more frustrated and sad than before.
Please be honest and tell me if i should try this.
It's a matter of respect to other peoples' feelings. All we who suffer know this....
Thanks in advance.

Have a good time all the time...
