 | pritanoid (0) 08/22/2008 | I used to sweat so bad that I could only wear black or white shirts so the stain wouldn't show! D:
After using this product I've COMPLETELY stopped sweating, it's incredible.
The only bother is that it makes my skin itch and sting if I use it every day and if I stop using it the sweat comes back.
Nonetheless, I recommend this product to anyone with sweat problems.

 | cheerio777 (0) 06/07/2008 | I used Drysol for the first time for 3 days then last night I slept over at my friends. I wore a white shirt, of course.
But then today, they invited my to come to the mall. But I forgot a change of clothes.
My friend told me I could just borrow one of her shirts.
But the only one that fit me was a bright neon blue one.
I began to freak out in my mind, doubting if Drysol would work for me or not. I thought, what if it doesn't, and I ruin her shirt, and most importantly, have MAJOR NOTICABLE sweat stains all day in the pits!
This would be the test.
Today, I can proudly say, I went ALL DAY without sweating a drop.
It was the happiest feeling in the world being able to wear bright clothing.
My heavens! TRY THIS PRODUCT! Give it three nights of applying it, then see how it works for you!
It kind of felt like I was wet all day, but I constantly checked, and I wasn't at all! Soooooooooooo uber great!

 | ayvee (0) 05/18/2008 | Amazing, if you check the review for certain dri and maxim on this same site, you will also see the same feedback. So which is it really? Who is telling the truth? Consumers like me who are desperate for over the counter resolutions are just more confused :-(

 | RockNroller (0) 04/28/2008 | I use drysol too, and the prickling sensation DIDNT STOP. I havent had luck with the hair dryer thing to keep the prickling sensation from bothering me before I fall asleep. But one night on a whim, after I dryed it, when the prickling began I put on my regular deoderant. (The Adidas gel with the cooling effect) and im not sure what really made the difference, but it seemed as though the cooling effect instantly stopped the prickling sensation and I couldnt even notice I had the drysol on. Also after doing that, the next days, I had the BEST drysol results ever! Maybe some would say you shouldnt put one thing on top of the other, but man it has made using drysol A BREEZE!! I do the same thing everytime I use the Drysol and I have the same results and havent had any other side effects!

 | designx86 (0) 03/03/2008 | I used Drysol one time on my armpits just a week ago, and have not sweated since. Not even during heavy workout. I love it. It was very itchy the night I put it on and I almost washed it off but I am glad I waited until morning. Next time I apply it I will blow-dry my pits to make sure they don't itch and I may have rubbed it in when I applied it. All in all, I am glad I used it. The discomfort was worth it.

 | Driller (0) 01/27/2008 | Works! End of story. Excessive sweating for 26 years, finally asked my doctor about why I would sweat so much. He suggested Drysol. I always thought it was my nerves. Applied about once a week for a month now its about every two months. Hardly sweat. Been using for over a year. Great product.

 | Vic123 (0) 01/21/2008 | I ruined alot of clothes because of sweating. Since starting Drysol I can finally buy new clothing without worrying about ruining them!!
I have 2 cons: 1. My armpits sometimes will hurt real bad after applying Drysol that I have to wash it off. If you do not experience pain you will probably experience ITCHING!!!
2. You have to apply it at least 1 week to see the results (hard when it hurts), and keep reappling at least twice a week after.
Otherwise great product!!

 | Gen26 (0) 01/20/2008 | I have to echo a lot of the reviews here. I lived with heavy sweating for TOO LONG! It limited my wardrobe, made me avoid or sometimes leave social gatherings, it had me obsessed with my sweating("Is it showing yet? Can I wear that shirt? Do I have an extra shirt to change into or a sweatshirt or coat to put over when I start sweating?")and changing clothes several times a day. I kept stashes of anti-perspirants everywhere and applied them every couple of hours to no avail. Nothing worked from the local grocery store or even slowed my sweating down. After searching the internet I found Drysol and it has changed my life. I hate to sound melodramatic about it but it is true. I have been using it now for four months and I don't give sweating a second thought anymore. I don't sweat and only have to apply Drysol now once a week. Yes it felt tingly (pin prick sensations)when I first started using it but the tingling was worth it to me. I could still drift off to sleep (just thought about what the tingling was doing and how it was working) and now I barely notice it. I wish I would have tried this product five years ago. I love being able to buy all colors and styles of shirts. I really love being able to go about my life and not ever worry about sweat stains. It is SAD how much of my time was wasted worrying and stressing about that before!

 | Cissy (0) 09/20/2007 | I bought Drysol on monday, applied it on that night and next day I sweated pretty little. I waited 2 days to apply it again, that night there was a little itching and burning but pretty mild the day after I sweated again but almost nothing I guess after using it for a while it will start working perfectly.

 | MISSYHISSY13 (0) 09/15/2007 | I started using this product about a week ago..and it works fantastic. I suffereed pretty badly from exclusive sweating. It could be like extremely cold out side and i would sweat so bad. I udes to wear hoodies and white/black shirts all the time. After the first day i felt confident enough to wear color; which i havent wore in a very long time. TRY THIS PRODUCE IT REALLY WORKS.

 | athleticgirl11 (0) 09/15/2007 | OMG!!!! I have been subjected to excessive sweating for about 7 months now. I had just turned 13, so there was already enough stress in my life without the sweating. people would make fun of me for wearing the same shirts over and over again, but it was only because they hid the sweat well. Recently I came up with the courage to tell someone about my problem, and my mom took me to the doctor, and she prescribed drysol for me. i was skeptical that this product would work, but it did!!! I now only sweat during physical activity, and i can wear the shirts i onced loved again!!!!! Thank you drysol! You've made my life sooo much better!

 | sickofsweat (0) 08/07/2007 | i havent tried drysol yet but i've tried EVERYTHING else, even Mike Ramsey's loofah technique. No results. I tried Certain Dri, and that worked for about a month. The irritation kept increasing so I stopped use. I'm affraid that Drysol will have an even higher amount of burning and itching. Do you think it will work for me when NOTHING ELSE HAS?

 | Friday12 (0) 08/07/2007 | I've been using Drysol for about a month and a half, and I haven't experienced ANY abnormal sweating. Although I've heard this treatment losses effectiveness over time, I am completely satisfied thus far. I can feel the medicine working as soon as it is applied, and my skin feels amazingly dryer on a day to day basis.
On a side note, before I used this product, I'd say my underarm sweating was pretty excessive. I'd be sitting in class taking notes and end up with ridiculous underarm stains on my loose, air-breathing t-shirt for no reason. If drysol can cure my abnormality, I have faith it could cure anyone else who has a mild to medium sweating problem.

 | HelloKitty03 (0) 08/06/2007 | Hi! I havn't tryed this product yet but I REALLY want to! I've been in so many embarissing situations because of my under arm sweating problem. I've tryed almost every other antiperspirant and nothing work, not even the arm and hammer baking soda stuff. But I was just wondering something. Would I need a PERSCRIPTION for it?? I know in the US. you do, but I live in Canada. I'm also only 13 so would I need a perscription!?
And I know what your thinking a 13 year old doesn't need drysol, but trust me I really do!

 | HonestAbe (1) 07/03/2007 | I've been using this product for over one year now,and it is absolutely fantastic. Changed my life. UNBELIEVABLE!!
I initially used it two days in a row, and then after that I switched to 2x per week for about 2 weeks, and then I have been on a once per week schedule since then. No sweating in my pits anymore. Ever. I am a distance runner and it even continues to work after an extreme workout.
Simply put it on after showering and before going to bed. Wash your pits in the morning and then apply your normal deoderant as usual (actually, you can use much less of your normal deoderant!).
For those complaining about the itching and burning,it is very important to thoroughly dry your pits. Here is how to prevent it:
1. Shower and clean your armpits.
2. Dry with a towel.
3. MOST IMPORTANT: Use a hair dryer to dry your pits. You can put it on the cool setting and just blow each pit for about 30 seconds. That's it. This will prevent the burning and itching almost entirely (may occasionally experience VERY MINOR itching for a few minutes).
After using this product, I can now comfortably wear any shirt, any material and in any climate and not sweat at all!!
What more can I say about this product!? It really, really works.
Also, I do not bother with the plastic wrap. I simply dab the fluid straight out of the bottle onto my (very dried off) pits. Then I usually wait about 30 minutes before going to bed to allow the solution to dry a bit.
I hope this helps someone.
Good luck!!!

 | franticdogpaddle (0) 06/28/2007 | ive had a bad problem ever since the 6th grade, i didnt like the wet feelings under my arms, id try to wear anything that wouldnt show as much, but it always did, and supposed "invisible" solids would miserably fail and after not too long there would be a white ring allll the way down and around from my sweat and deodorant.. so i always kept my arms down and i knew it was there, all i ever thought about, felt uncomfortable around my friends.. id always wear a coat everywhere i went when it would be cool enough to pass it off. the summertime would always be hell for me.. i was supposed to hang out with my friend and i was in my car deciding whether i should go in or not because of my half wet shirt.. i didnt end up going, i txted her and made up a lie about why i couldnt come by.. i really wanted to see her too. i had it so bad, and i read these reviews and i decided to get it, i live in ontario canada, and i just called up my local shopper's drug mart (only after 9 years of putting up with this embarassing crap) and asked the pharmacy department if they had any drysol and she checked for me she didnt have any but she said she would order one for me so i said sure.. this stuff is fantastic, not even 24 hours ago i just applied some with my finger and i took some saran wrap and folded it a few times and kept wrapping it until it was a rectangular pillow wad, you know. it stung yes but it wasnt as horrible as ppl said it is.. the only thing is i first tried it with a q-tip and spread it and right away it turned red and its still red where i used the q-tip so thats when i used my finger. thats why it says three times in bold capitals DO NOT RUB IN ! i noticed a hell of a difference today, i wore this cute shirt today that i've never worn. i was a little wet but just moisture there at the pit but i was so shocked! it said 2 or more treatments will stop excessive sweating, cant wait to see my friends i already feel the self confidence rising! some people seem to be not getting that little sheet of directions.. if anyone still is unsure about the instructions id be happy to copy n paste! i dont know why it took this long for me to discover drysol!!! seriously, drysol!!! not certain dri, this one girl said her pits turned black from using it so i made it a point to get drysol!oh and i spent the same amount for secret clinical strength ($20CDN)i had to buy it on ebay cuz they wont market it in canada and i was desperate and i was too embarassed to go to a doctor! after like 3 days of disappointment, i gave up and my drysol came to the store so yeah.. i love drysol, screw everything else, if you can relate to me.. drysol drysol drysol, its well worth it already!

if u wax ur underarm.
will it hurt to apply drysol?

 | ahm2307 (0) 04/24/2007 | Looking back at all the embarrassing situations I've been in because of my excessive underarm sweat, I can't help but laugh. Now that I found the solution to a problem only recently I discovered I have, I'm the happiest guy ever!
To think of all the working out I've done in the past 3 years, now I can't wear tight shirts?! come on, it's unfair!
I bought it only three days ago. Irritated the living bejesus out of my right underarm but now it's better. Plus, it kept me dry as a bone today...I didn't sweat for a second today!
So if you have axillary hyperhydrosis, don't worry. Many solutions exist, from the awesome Drysol (and Maxim - if you don't have a prescription) to the rather invasive ETS; your choice and your right. It's your lifestyle that's on the line here and it shouldn'be be impaired because of a silly disorder like that. Good luck!

 | arjaarja (0) 12/12/2006 | Hi fellas, please answer my questions :)
I've only been using drysol for 4 days now, every night. It hasn't helped that much. I still get sweaty pits.
1. How do I use the plastic wrap? It keeps wrinkling and I end up not using it. I only use a tight shirt now when I go to bed.
2. I hear we're not supposed to use it every night. But I've been using it 4 nights straight and I'm not dry yet, altho I notice a slight improvement. (im a heavy sweater)
3. How much drysol do I need to apply? I dont have the dab-on.. So far I'm using 12 drops on each armpit. Quite a lot.
4. Is there a danger of overdose? As i am using quite alotta drysol on each pit. 12 drops to be precise (4 drops , 3 time applications)
THanks in advance friends

 | guywhosweats (0) 09/21/2006 | first off, i sweat pretty bad, whether im sitting there in a crowd, hot, cold, when im nervous, or just bored, i sweat. Unlike most of you, i dont have sweaty palms or armpits, my sweat comes from my face/head, chest and sometimes back. I used the drysol on my chest and forehead and im not sweating. my forehead is paper dry and my chest is slightly, and i emphasize slightly damp. This is only after using it once, and I didn't apply much either. its been 3 days and it's still working. for those in the USA, like myself, order online. Yes, you can get it WITHOUT a prescription online, thats how I got mine.

 | Constantine21 (0) 07/03/2006 | Hello everybody.
I suffer from hyperhydrosis many years now. I am frustrated. Day by day i become less confident about myself. I avoid getting out a lot, i am getting less and less socialized, which led me even to loose my girlfriend.. i wear only white and synthetic clothes, IT IS RUINING MY LIFE(like a lot others' here)
I haven't tried this product.
I want to ask you honestly!
Is there a chance to help me???
I am not afraid of loosing my money. Who cares about 30 $ if your whole life changes?? I am afraid of what will happen if the product won't help me. I am going to be more frustrated and sad than before.
Please be honest and tell me if i should try this.
It's a matter of respect to other peoples' feelings. All we who suffer know this....
Thanks in advance.
Have a good time all the time...

 | JenJordan (0) 03/13/2006 | I've suffered for years from excessive sweating in my armpits. I used Drysol for the 1st time and the next day there was VERY LITTLE sweating. After the 2nd application I now am completely dry. This product is great and I would reccomend it to anyone with Hyperhidrosis. I am so happy not to have embarraasing wet marks and stains and to finally wear a shirt other than the color black. The buring and itching does hurt, but I found if I just skipped a night or two that helped my skin calm down and then at the next application it was not as bad. TRY IT!!!

Do you have to shower at night and then put it on, or is it OK to put it on at night and shower in the morning?
Also, the first time you get it, do you put it on and if no sweating occurs that day, just skip the next night? What if you skip the next night and sweating occurs during the day? How do you know what to do?
Thanx in advance!

 | Odd (0) 01/26/2006 | I have been using Drysol since August of 2005. It works great! I can wear flip flops and heels now!!!! Now I don't worry about what kind or color of clothing I buy! Taking tests and shaking hands aren't a problem anymore. I use Drysol about once a week now, but I also take a prescription drug called Toprol every day. Toprol is normally used on people with high blood pressure. I believe that this is helping me as well because I feel so much more calm and don't get extremely anxious anymore. Everyday life feels normal now! My doctor gave me Toprol, along with the Drysol, because he thought that I had an extreme case of hyperhidrosis. I would sweat when I was sitting at the computer. I could honestly be doing absolutely nothing other than sitting, and not feeling anxious about anything... and I could collect a pool of sweat in my palms, my socks could be wet and I would have ginormous rings of sweat under my armpits. Then sometime any area of my body would sweat when I got even remotely active in a sport. I could be drenched just doing a 10 minute warm-up before basketball practice. And during basketball games I would not have a dry spot on my jersey top or shorts. My hair would even be soaked. And actually not a part of my skin was dry. I was just wondering if anyone else takes Toprol along with Drysol??????????????? And could you tell me if you think it's helping or not!?!?! THANKS!

 | drypits (0) 01/24/2006 | This product is amazing. I got a prescription for it last week and this is the first time in about 20 years that I haven't sweated. I can't wait to shop for new clothes.
About the burning: The first night I used it I got out of the shower, dried myself with a towel, and put it on. Yeah, it burned a bit, but I took an Advil and went to bed. The next night I didn't use it because I hadn't sweated at all that day and my pits still felt irritated. The third night I waited about 20 minutes after getting out of the shower to be sure my pits were really, really dry before I put it on and I just barely dabbed it on. NO BURNING! Skin holds moisture even after you think it's dry, so lay on your bed with your pits exposed to the air for 20 - 30 minutes before applying it and see if that helps. Good luck. I wish every product worked as well as this stuff.

I'm the only one I know with hyperhidrosis and because of it I suffer from anxiety attacks, embarrassment, anti-social, scared to shake hands with people, test anxiety, and a lot of other things.
I've been dealing with this for a long time and through internet research the only cure I've found is surgery... and I don't want to go through that. So if anyone can help me out, please do and tell me if drysol can help with my problem. Or recommend other medication, lotions, injections etc.

 | PaulinToronto (0) 01/03/2006 | I have been using Drysol now for about 3 month's. At first I was hesitant in using it but with time I thought how could I have gone so long without it. After the first application, I was shocked the whole entire next day, I was so paranoid of sweating that I constantly checked my underarms for sweating but there was none. Prior to using Drysol, my sweating was so bad that I had to limit myself as to what I could wear and actually go around conscious of not raising my arms etc... as the sweating was so excessive, but now you should see my collection of new T-Shirts, I can wear anything and feel so good. I raise my arms in confidence and feel like running thru fields with raised arms like some Viagara commercial. Drysol is great. I have tried the mild and the regular but prefer the mild. I find the regular burns my underarms and makes my underarms very itchy and red. The mild is great, I use it every other night and even if I miss a night, I can still get away with one more day of not sweating.

 | texasDJ (0) 11/11/2005 | Absolutely the best thing to ever happen to me. I was a strong sweater ever since puberty, even in cold weather, my pits would be soaked. After finding Drysol, its been a total turnaround. I used it once every other day for a week or two, then after that I didn't need to use it for at least two months, then just once a month or so, as needed. Incredible stuff. The stinging is there, especially if I need to 'update' my protection and put it on two nights in a row, but wow, its worth it! I'll take one evening of slight discomfort in exchange for MANY evenings of TOTAL COMFORT!! NO MORE SWEAT STAINS!! and this glowing praise is coming from the biggest skeptic around, I ASSURE YOU. GET THIS STUFF.

 | xj6 (0) 11/01/2005 | For years i have been suffering from an increasingly bad facial sweating problem. I am a semi-pro musician and was about to give up live playing because of the terrible facial sweating on stage. I used the 'dab-on' stuff, only 3x in one month with unreal results. It stings the first time, and you must NOT get it in your eyes, but it works. Thank the good Lord for this stuff.

 | tdogg (0) 10/29/2005 | well to be honest i have to say this stuff is great. I tried everything from drysol to anything else that is supposed to stop sweating....nothing even came close to working. then i got drysol...wow. first day i barely even sweat a single drop. the next day i applied a tad bit too much and you're talkin about hurting. big red spots under my arms from irritation...other then that this is the best stuff on the market, i deffinitley recomment it!

 | Sally04 (0) 10/27/2005 | wow, this stuff really does work.
although drysol isn't sold over the counter here in the united states; i was able to get my doctor to give me a perscription for it. then i used it last night for the first time and today i didn't have any sweat stains whatsoever.
yes i did have a little trouble sleeping; but tonight im going to wrap my armpits in saran wrap.
i can finally wear colored t-shirts to school.
im so excited : )
