wow. let me tell you about this product. I love it! my skin is glowing, clear and poreless! I no longer have acne breakouts, large pores or blackheads. and it deacreased my wrinkles which i didnt expect. bottom line is that this stuff is a miracle!

It is also available in a gel or light lotion form. I wouldn't go a day without using it. I have sensitive skin and it doesn't bother me. It makes me face so smooth.

If you have oily skin prone to blemishes, this is a no nonsense answer for you. If you have combo skin or dry skin, do not use this.... This is salycilic (sp??) acid....many many many products on the market use this...comments about a chemical on the face and lack of a license is a bit overboard! Perhaps this strength and formula were not right for you?

It's the best thing i've ever tried for my pimples. After years of wasting money on acne products, i finally tried Paula's Choice Beta Hydroxy solution...within a month, my skin was smoother and pimple free.

I found both the 1% & 2% bha's (and both liquid solution and lotion formula) extremely harsh for my face. This stuff wreaked total havoc on my skin as well as my kids face (I unfortunately had them try it for their acne at the same time I tried it). It took us 6-9 months for our skin to recover. Funny how people who give facials need a license to simply touch our face, but anyone can create chemical products that we put on our face. Kinda scary when you think about it.

If you are looking for a really good beta-hydroxy solution for breakouts, this is one to check out. It is in liquid form, easy to apply, and doesn't dry out my skin. Very reasonably-priced too!
