08/09/2008 |  I had an 04 Kia Sorento, traded it in Dec 07 only because it was nearing the 50k bumper to bumper warranty expiration. It had 48k on it when we traded it. NOT ONE PROBLEM! EVER! NOTHING! LOVED this car...I also traded the Sorento because I needed something bigger. In Dec 07 bought a Dodge Grand Caravan SXT, and I really like the van, it's fully loaded, has all the bells and whistles AND I paid extra for the lifetime wrap warranty, and I still fully intend to trade that in on a Kia Berrego now that they're finally out here in KS. Note: before the Sorento, had a 99 Kia Sephia, drove it for 5 years, all over Germany (on the Autobahn) Ok, we DID have to take the Sephia to a Kia place and have a recall thing fixed, and that was kind of difficult, finding a Kia dealership in Germany! But that was the only thing thaT was ever "wrong" with that one! I highly suggest and stand behind the Kia brand as a whole, just from my experience with these two vehicles. They're cheap, great on gas and well-made, not something you find much anymore these days...

10/18/2007 | By the looks and price, this is definitely a worthy competitor in the segment. Great warranty too, but don't know how it could handle off road other than the dust roads here and there.

12/29/2004 | I loved my Kia at first, got lots of compliments on the stylish look BUT... with less than 30,000 miles on it I have had it in for service almost 10 times - 5 times for air conditioner thermostat, headlight burned out, key broke in half (and I had to pay $14 to replace it!!) and now the power steering unit is leaking badly and they can't seem to fix it (I've had it in 3 times for this problem in 3 weeks) it is in the shop now trying to see if they can fix it and as soon as I get it back I am trading it in... not on another KIA!!!

08/25/2004 | This is a great vehicle! Heavy in construction, air bags in front and side, even back passengers! Can pull up to 3600 lbs. Much better than the Jeep, and many of the Chevy SUV's in how it drives. Better safety rating than previous years, this year it carries a 5-star rating. Fun car to drive with heated seats, and lots of other amenities.

08/04/2004 | A very well built SUV. Solid throughout, exellent to good packaging and pleasant driving experience. I am glad I chose to buy this vehicle I did my homework and KIA came through heads and shoulders above the competition.

05/28/2004 | Its got a Great warrenty on a good looking car, but the bad part is that its a Kia. When you come down to it, its just a Kia. I'd like to have something a little more solid feeling, something from a company that has been around for a long time.
