Metrogel topical is used for skin condtions such as Rosacea. It is not commonly used for acne. It is available in a vaginal applicator for bacterial vaginal infections but they are different consistancies, and i would not recommend substituting one for the other.

my dermatologist prescribed this to me for acne and rosacea,along with differin gel and two months of minocycline(oral antibiotic). My face has cleared up completely,with only minimal irritation the first few days. I have never been happier!

Isn't MetroGel used for vaginal infections too?
