 | ILikePie (49) 08/05/2007 | The 64 is well presented in that its most famous (and probably its best) games have cartoony graphics, so don't require any graphical power to run smoothly. This makes people think that the Nintendo is more graphically advanced than the likes of the PlayStation, but when you look at 'real' games like Episode I Racer you can see that the PSOne is way ahead. Graphics aside, the collection of games is somewhat limited, but gems like Super Smash Bros never get old and are heaps of fun. For the less serious gamer.

 | Mad Hatter (37) 07/23/2007 | I still have one. I don't use it much, if at all. I'll say this though, the 64 is the only system to have a decent WWE wrestling game thus far. WWE No Mercy!

 | XAgent (28) 07/22/2007 | A good system with a fair selection of games. Its appreciation has gone down massively but it still has a few fans.

 | Jamie McBain (44) 07/22/2007 | It was a pretty good system for it's time, Mario Kart and Donkey Kong Country, were my favorite games for the N64.

 | andrewmc (0) 12/26/2005 | I liked this system back in the day probably because I was younger. When the Gamecube came out I got that and outgrew it pretty quickly. Honestly the Gamecube is very kid oriented except for a few games, any dumbass can see that. Back on the N64... some really good memories playing it with my friends when I was younger.

 | Joe111 (0) 11/24/2004 | This is the weakest of the Nintendo systems. The Gamecube is a big improvement!

 | ClassicTVFan47 (36) 11/08/2004 | Known also as the Ultra 64 and the Fun Machine, this classic system is up there with the Nintendo GameCube as, simply, one of the best ever. The Nintendo 64 is simply, a classic system. True, many Nintendophobes critized them for sticking with cartridges while Silly Sony moved onto the CD-Rom format, but these cool, grey carts will always hold a place in my heart. They are durable and have absolutely no load times. The Nintendo 64 saw some amazingly innovative concepts, including four controller ports, a memory expansion pack to improve graphics, the analog control stick and the rumble pack to get a little shakin' goin' on. The games were also some of the greatest. Super Mario 64 remains an awe-inspring uberclassic, and was the first 3D game I ever truly experienced. Mario Kart saw a sequel and everyone's favorite plumber-and-princess-rescuer branched out to Golf and Tennis in two amazing sports titles. The incredibly-addictive Super Smash Brothers series also saw its birth here, along with the ever-cool Mario Party series. Pokemon moved into the 3D realm with the 2 amazing Pokemon Stadium titles and the oft-overlooked Pokemon Snap. Donkey Kong, Kirby, and Zelda also saw a return. Paper Mario also saw Nintendo's first original RPG in years. Third-party support was a contented issue with the Nintendo 64, but it produced some great games like Electronic Arts' Beetle Adventure Racing and Konami's classic International Superstar 64. For me, the fun machine will live on.

 | dusteater (4) 10/29/2004 | I think this is the worst of the Nintendo consoles. I had more fun playing with the old nintendo and snes than this. The game library is very small and the games get boring really fast.

 | WarGamefan93 (3) 10/07/2004 | Man when I was younger this was Dynamite!I'd play it before school or if I was told to go sit on the stairway and I'd sneak up the stairway and play it.But now I move on, I have an awesome PS2 and X-Box, which ClassicTVFan47 hates, HEY X-Box isn't hidious. But now N64 is an average system.
