This show is proof that shock and vulgarity are no match for clever humor. I have listened to this show since I first heard of it. I like the fact that this show can approach adult subjects in a reasonable and humorous way, without making them the focal point of the show. The sound effects to the stories are just hilarious. Everything about the show is a parody of the way life was in the sixties, and of the way it was misrepresented on TV. This is a radio show that, if you did not know what it was and just happened to stumble across it looking for something to listen to, would captivate you. It is the one radio show that I could sit and just listen to while not doing anything else. Most radio is backround to other activity.

Good, clean fun. Not too many shows on TV can claim that moniker.

I turn it off unless I am about to hear Guy Nioir private eye, or some guest musical performance.

Idea is not so fresh. Different but no longer riveting. Keillor is showing signs of self-love and dominance of air time. I grow weary of only him, particularly his singing. Used to be good place to hear new or ignored folk professionals - seems to be slipping into entertainment. Maybe time to get Disney to buy his show. Sad how money and fame can mess things up. And his politics don't belong in print or on the air. We don't give a rotten peep how he votes.

A relaxing, laid back classic. Very enjoyable show. I love to listen to Garrison Keillor tell a story.

Old fashioned radio with a lot of soul and heart. I love it. Great mix of music, comedy and good old-fashioned storytelling.
