Not as good as the original of course, but still had a lot of funny moments and magical characters.

Totally overrated. An extra star for the much improved animation, everything else lacked from the first film. A unoriginal story with dull characters(except for Shrek) and jokes that we either heard 100 times before or just wasn't that funny. Stick with the original because that was a funny film. Maybe next time I'll just rent Shrek 3.
