This was indeed an interesting film with an edge.There are several levels of metaphor operating in it.However,it was NEVER meant to have a "sequel":that idea came when the movie was a suprise success and they called in the hacks to make another in the name of the almighty buck.This movie would appeal to x-files fans,but don't waste your time on the sequels.

I was amazed the first time I saw it. This movie set the new standard for action films and special effects. It's too bad the other 2 Matrix movies sucked so bad.

A solid action piece. Ground breaking special effects actually motivated by the premise. That's refreshing since every movie seems to be throwing something in that it doesn't need.

It was alot better than I was excpecting. One of the better movies Keanu Reeves has been in.
