Jim Reid is a likable, genuine, and committed man who raises good points about the importance of affordable housing. However, he is not a viable candidate for mayor. Why did he get equal airtime to Gonzalez / Newsom etc. at the mayoral debate? I almost felt a little bad for him having to cite affordable housing as the solution to every policy question. I would have much preferred to hear any of the serious candidates expand on their ideas than to hear Reid repeatedly ask peope to visit his Web site for more on affordable housing.

The only politician I have ever liked. Jim is a building contractor who would like to teach the (clean and sober) homeless to build their own tiny houses. I have been inside one of these beautiful little cottages and was sincerely impressed. He's such a refreshing change from all the other candidates. He rides city buses and chats with the common folk. www.SFmayor.com will give you lots more info on Jim and his ideas to greatly improve San Francisco. Check this dude out -- it's time for a change. Make SF liveable and affordable again for working folks -- Jim Reid for SF mayor!
