HorribleI was recently in an accident with a Georgia Farm Bureau customer. It was her fault. The people in the claims office were really nice. I assume this is due to the fact that all I wanted was my truck fixed (minor damage). However, things turned nasty quickly when my truck wasn't ready, and my rental car was due to be returned. Then, I found out the repair shop did not receive a check for payment, and I did not either. I was told that if my truck was ready, then the rental needed to be returned. No check no truck. I was told 8 days before that the check was in the mail. The manager got on the phone and was just as hateful as the claims rep. He told me he was extending the rental 3 more days, and he was done. He hung up on me. Do not deal with these people without a lawyer, no matter what!!!

I have been with GA Farm Bureau for 13 years. That is just me. My father worked for them so pretty much my entire family has been with them since the 80's. I have always been super happy with them but I had never had a real problem. Some minor car accidents but nothing huge. Then 3 weeks ago I totaled my van. It was then that I found out what Farm Bureau is really made of and how they treat loyal customers. They no longer have adjusters in my county so I have had to deal with a horrible woman from a neighboring one. She offered me 1/2 of what is owed on my car and told me basically that there is nothing I can do about it. That is "just how they estimate claims". I was told that they do not use any book value to estimate value and even though I had multiple dealers tell me she was off by close to 2000.00, there was still no change in the payment. As soon as all of this is handled I am switching my insurance and so is my family. I also plan on telling every single person I encounter how horrid they have treated me throughout this difficult time. I hope the little that they saved on my claim is worth the money that they will be losing just in premiums. I may not work for them but I can do basic math.

I Have been with Georgia Farm Bureau 20+ years and my parents and grandparents are members as well and am completely satisfied with the service and products I receive. My agent, Deborah Prince in Washington County, has went above and beyond her duties to help me and my family, she is not only our insurance agent she is our friend and an asset to the protection of my family and our possessions.

Where do i even start? My boyfriend and i suffered the loss of our home on Feb. 14,2008 due to a house fire. We contacted GFB that day to report the total loss. We have been dealing with them for almost 9 months now and the claim has not been closed. The adjuster is impossible to get in touch with and doesnt return calls in a timely manner. Some of the office staff is extremely rude. We finally signed a release that we wouldn't claim anymore on certain parts of our policy for this claim so we could FINALLY get the money we were due. (Stupid i know but sometimes you just want to move on with your life) Once we have finished rebuilding they are supposed to pay any additional cost to rebuild, i wonder how long that will take. And to top this story off, my car was totaled yesterday by a driver insured but GFB. I went to the office in person today only to find they are contesting the police report and 2 witness statements. I am not holding my breath that this claim will be paid in a timely manner. Nothing they do is in a timely manner.

I have had Georgia Farm Bureau for almost a year. I have to say my agent is a great agent. I was referred by friends whose own families have had GFB for over 20+ years. Before GFB I had S*%$E Farm Insurance and trust me they are not what they tell you they are about. Their coverage sucks! Georgia Farm Burea is great and even rated AM Best rating of Exxcellence A-!

My wife and I were with Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance for more than 22 years and paid more than $40,000 in premiums for our household and vehicles over that time. In later years one vehicle carried collision and uninsured motorists coverage--the others carried full coverage. I have not had a ticket for a moving violation in more than 44 years of driving. I recall only one other claim of a few hundred dollars years ago because of one of our children's fender bender.
Recently, a vehicle ran me off the road--the police report verified that to be so--and the auto mentioned above was totaled. All emergency responders were sure that it would be covered. I described the accident to personnel at our agents office and was told that it was covered. The claim was about $2400--a little more than our total annual premiums.
The adjuster sent the claim to Farm Bureau Insurance because of what she termed "circumstances". After more than 25 days I was notified that Farm Bureau Insurance had reviewed the claim and denied coverage. I could not "swear" that the other vehicle made contact with mine. According to Georgia law if no contact can be proven the other car is a "ghost vehicle"--in spite of the official accident report which, apparently, can be ignored.
Obviously, Farm Bureau Insurance lost our business. Three of our children--now adults with families--have used Farm Bureau Insurance for their homes and multiple vehicles. Our new insurer has an excellent rating and costs much less for the same coverage.
Recently, we have received notices from Farm Bureau that we cannot be "insured" if we do not pay our membership fee. Right!!

Farm Bureau insures my house and vehicles, but not for long. A rating of zero out of any number would be giving this company the benefit of the doubt. I have never received such poor service. My car has been undrivable for almost 2 months. I'm just glad a tree didn't fall on my roof. This institution is characterless, thieving, and otherwise useless to anyone in search for insurance. If this is "the voice of farmers" I'm grateful not to be a farmer!

My parents used Ga Farm Bureau and when i turned 18 i became a member and now my daughter is a member. Im sure that in 14 or 15yrs down the road my grandchildren will benifit from this wonderful company. Ga Farm Bureau is more then just the best priced insurance they are part of our family history in a silly kind of way.

I have been a Georgia Farm Bureau customer for over 14 years. They have always treated me very fair. After an auto claim in 1993, Hurricane damage to my home in 1995 and another auto claim in 1996, I am very satified with the protection they have provided me and my family. I am also satisfied with my insurance premiums that I pay.

Georgia Farm Bureau Suck even after being with them over 20 years. Their fine as long as you don’t need them. I've been waiting for Joyce the adjuster in the Liberty county area for over 5 weeks now. It's not the first time. She will not keep an appointment or call anyone back. She is way past her usefulness. It doesn’t make sense I also have other neighbors in the same boat with her.

My daughter was involved in an accident while driving my 66 mustang. She was driving down a road, the other driver backed out of a driveway hitting the front tire fender & door of our car. The insurance company, Ga Farm Bureau, said they will not pay for our damages because my daughter saw the other car moving & could have stopped even though she had the "right of way". Basically I was told my daughter had the last opportunity to avoid the accident. From their point of view, the fact that their driver was cited for failing to yield means nothing. I also pointed out that their driver also had a chance to avoid the accident by simply using her brakes. Basically I am disgusted with GFB and think they are dishonest.

GA Farm Bureau has been a fairly priced, and quick to act company. I have been with them for 34 years as a customer and always completely satisfied.

FARM BUREAU WILL NOT PAY ITS LOSSES IN A FAIR AND TIMELY MANNER. IF YOU ARE GETING GREAT RATES FROM THEM, ASK YOURSELF WHY. THEN ASK YOURSELF IF ITS WORTH IT TO BE SUED BY PEOPLE YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY REFUSES TO PAY. THATS WHY YOU BOUGHT INSURANCE TO START WITH, ISN'T IT? YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR...
