 | nicolew (0) 04/01/2008 | Bell Expressvu is the worst company to deal with. Constantly sending me defective equipment. Please beware if you are thinking of buying their equipment. Customer Service, what service? I have been onhold longer this month that I have been able to watch TV with their service. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A 2 YEAR CONTRACT, it's their only way to keep you unless you pay their early termination fee. Also note that Early Termination clause is 1 year longer than competitors

I paid $600.00 for the current version HDPVR 9242 and received an older inferior model 9200, which they tried to convince me it was the same product. If you do have a problem, customer service will not help you even though the error is there fault. And the best thing is when you complain the customer service people say that it's possible that they wanted to pawn off some old stock from the warehouse. I would not recommend BEll, it's not worth it.

 | Bongzilla (0) 04/02/2007 | If you plan on using any bell service, it's best to purchase a bottle of vaseline first. It makes the reaming your gonna get much easier. Forget about bell, buy a viewsat and enjoy screwing them for a change.

Customer Service is the worst of any company I've dealt with
Loss of signal is frequent in the winter
Channel Guide downloads a pain
I wouldn't recommend Bell if you have a choice where you live

 | Vu or not to Vu (0) 01/09/2006 | The actual basic service is OK but I have many complaints.
• On some High Definition programming I experience random pixilization and voice out of sync when viewing through Super Definition output opposed to Digital Video Output.
• Guide Updates are a pain in the a_ _. Every day when I hit the guide it wants to download the guide and it takes about 3-5 minutes (6100 receiver).
• Programming is a rip off. Expressvu is doing there best to make you pick every package even though you may only be interested in 1 or 2 channels in some of them. If you have an old package and you want to make a small change, they make you change your whole subscription to the new packages available at the time (higher priced). IF you want to order some channels separately, you will likely find that they can only be selected as a “Theme”. They have placed specific high rated channels in the full Theme selections.
Conclusion: I would be more than happy to try a competitor if they were around. I don’t know if Starchoice is still available but I will certainly look in to it.
