It was ok, but I didn't play alot of games on it, for it to make a huge impact on me.

Besides, I liked the PS2 alot more.

I've had mine for seven years, and I'm still not bored with it...
It's outlived most people's PS2s by a long way.

If we talk bout' it now, most would say this was a crappy machine, but it made the biggest jump in the graphics of video games. Before the playstation, I never thought of playin' a 3-D game.

I laugh at it now, but at the time I thought NFL Gameday 98' was like a nice lookin' piece of art. I had a good time with the Crash and Need For Speed series on this console.

This system was a good one i miss it even even though i now have a Xbox.. It was a good system with a good game selection good controllers and fun to play.. I would suggest this for ppl who don't want to spend as much..

There's a reason I traded in my Playstation 1 after only owning it for a few months. This uninviting grey dull-drop was supposedly the best console over both the incredible Nintendo 64 and the underrated Sega Saturn. How can this be? The controllers are hard to use and unremarkable, and later blatently ripped off of Nintendo's innovative analog stick concept. Sony did at least, then, have great mascots in the form of Spyro and Crash--although they never came up to the par of Mario or Sonic. There were tons of games, but none that really were truly great. Even back then, quantity over quality seemed to be Sony's rule.

next to the snes, ive spent provably more hours of my life than anyone should on my playstaion. so many titles, and it sems as though every one had a playstion. twisted metal is the shit!
