Great facility! Totally unique as far as other NFL stadiums go and a true gem. With the huge windows you almost feel like you are outside. One of the few bright spots for Detroit.

I understand football should be played in a dome, but when it's 10 degrees outside, you can see why they have a domed stadium.

What history? I can sum up the best parts of the Lions post 1950's history in two words: Barry Sanders. The Silverdome reeked of boos but at least there was one player on the field worth watching.

Domes! Very disappointing for a team with their history.

When you first enter Ford Field it doesn't seem like a football stadium at all it is sort of hidden away, but when it is finally revealed it is a site to behold. It is complete with steel beams in the roof to immitate the old factories. The only complaint I had was it on seats around 60,000-65,000.

Ford Field is a wonderful venue. All Detroit needs now is a team.

It's my home stadium but even if it wasn't I'd be impressed. It will make a great host for Super Bowl XL.

Wonderful Stadium to watch a game...even the awful Lions!

So many LUXURY BOXES.

Sure it's better than that awful Silverdome, but come on, a new domed football stadium?? Come on, football should be played outdoors!!! The only reason they did this is because they wanted to get some more Super Bowls played in Detroit.

Lions are on an uproar!

This and Reliant Stadium are the best in football. Both have a lot in common. The food here is wonderful, as well as the service. There isn't a bad place to sit here either.

No more domes for football!!! Is there anything worse?
jamestkirk 09/16/2003
Why did they have to build another dome for the NFL? I know it's cold in Detroit, but haven't they heard of retractable roofs? Anyway, if they can play outdoors in Buffalo and Green Bay why not in Detroit?
