Its a real injustice to the religion, although I cannot help but think that rather than being a party with a real political agenda it is more likely to be the brainchild of a few people smart enough to come up with the idea of a party but unable to manage the misfits that do join in, albeit in the hope of fighting the 'perceived' great evil which is america. It does highlight the fact that extremisms are more of a byproduct of inadequate exposure, miserable levels of education and an oppressive regime that is more than keen to blame the West for all their problems (I personally blame the WTO!).

Pathetic. With no ideology or methodology to speak of, JI goes after "soft targets" (read: civilians) in nightclubs and hotels. When asked if Australia (whose 18-22 year old citizents suffered the most casualties in the Bali bombing), was a friend or foe of the United States, the lead suspect and JI member replied sheepishly that he had no idea. Sometimes I think we give these organizations too much credit for being political in nature - at the end of the day they are just ignorant, bloodthirsty, remorseless killers.
