Dark Age of Camelot 5

DAoC was the first mmorpg I ever played. I've checked out a few others and stay with DAoC. Best RVR/PVP around. PVE is not as colorful as some of the other games but not bad either, but there is a thriving PVE server.

Those that complain about TOA need to catch up - TOA is considerably different than it used to be. If you don't like TOA play one of the 3 classic servers :) Many of the people that 'left' have moved to those servers.

Balance? LOL what game really is balanced?

Some complain that the players are gone -- I see plenty still around - not hard to find a guild or group. The last thing I would believe is what is said on VN boards, most that post there dont play anyway. Or got killed in an rvr zone.

No rich friend here, nobody has given me anything and I do quite well - started out killing mobs and running tasks and it adds up-- patience grasshopper.

one of the best rpgs. it got old after atlantis, but that wasn't until after a few years, so it had a pretty good run

Wellll.... It was good until Trials of Atlantis ruined the game balance. Now they're trying to amend that but it's too late... The players are gone. I loved my friends in this game and it provided several years of fun. Would I recommend it for someone to get into? No.
