This game is okay, but it doesn't have that much stuff to do after you've created dreams, entered the contests and all your friends have quit.. The majority of people on the game are decent people, but there are the people who are kinda sick. And oh my, the guardians. Don't even get me started. When you have a problem, they don't even bother helping you, they just refer you to guardians@furcadia.com or something and tell you to go tell them. 1) They read the email, and delete it. 2) If you email more than once, they tell you to stop emailing. Yesterday I got hacked and lost my 10GD that someone had given to me. The guardian I talked to reassured me, and I thought "Wow, for once a guardian might acctually help me" and then they just refered me to the god damn email address again. Okay well furcadia isn't all that bad, it really brought out my creative side with the patches and dreams that you can create, but then you get totally crushed when nobody comes to your dream and furrefags say that it sucks like hell when you spent ages on it. RP community - The Afk community more like. You try to find someone to RP with and they go afk after one sentance of "Wanna RP?" Adult RPing, urgh. I hate it. I never yiff on this game, since I'm only 14. Yet, I get people saying "Wanna suck my dick" and a load of other crap. I reckon more than half the people on this game are horny 18 year olds looking for a socially challenged 12 year old to touch. I wouldn't reccomend this game to people less than 13, or people who take things what people say seriously (as there are more than enough people who throw 'fire' at you.) All in all, I wouldn't really reccomend this game. I've been playing for 3 years now I think, but If it weren't for my friends there, I'd be long gone by now. (It's also pretty hand to find friends if you don't buy digo's or whatever. And as I said, if you get hacked and the pointless digo's that you DO have get transfered to someone else, the guradians don't care.)

Furcadia is a world built up on imagination. Each player has a certain individuality and on Furcadia they can express this. It may be that it is a 'Game' built up on Roleplay and Socialising, but to some people this is all that is needed.

You can buy 'DigoMarket' items, which are wings and mythical creatures such as: Butterfly wings, Bat wings and Phoenix's. They are but a few of the many things you can purchase. These 'items' are to make your personal character look more to your desire and you do not have to buy these if you do not wish to. The cheapest Digo rolls up to a stunning $2.95, which I think is rather good. The Digomarket helps keep Furcadia free for all it's personal players.

However, I do understand that you get the occasional player or two that are rather obnoxious and arrogant. This can be off putting, but if you search in the right places (Naia Green and Allegria Islands are a good example) you can find friendly and welcoming people who accept everyone as an equal. New or not, Digo'ed or not.

Furrabian Nights (FurN) is a place for people over the age of 18. It clearly states as you enter the map that it is for Adults and gives you a choice of whether you wish to continue into that map or not. No one is forced to go there and Guardians that recieve reports of harrassment and such other business will not treat it as seriously as any other map, as within this map 'cybering' is permitted.

It's all about your personal opinion. I conclude that you should not let others cloud your judgement. It's a personal experience and you should try it to see what YOU think of it, not your friend or some random person typing their views. I think Furcadia takes a patient person to fully enjoy what it offers. It's really not a "game" in the typical sense of the word, but more a roleplaying environment. The potential for personalization as far as graphics go is nearly limitless.

The community leaves something to be desired. Furcadia is focused on socializing but at the same time, new players will find it so cliquey, that socializing may be impossible. The bulk of the population seems to be between 15 and 19. The staff work mainly behind the scenes, resulting in a lot of troll-related abuse.

Still, there's a plethora of secluded communities where serious role-players will enjoy themselves. And it's not bad if you want to brave the cliques in search of casual conversation.

The worst 'game' I have ever played. I DO NOT want to spend $99.95 on some virtual wings, and neither do you! Stay away from this game! The players are sex obbsessed and have mental issues! Parents, do not let your child download this sack of shit! 'Furcadia is a friendly community'? No, it isnt. You will be hated unless you have wings or your a dragon or something. The staff behind Furcadia do not do anything about breaking the rules in the game, infact, there isnt any rules. Its EVIL. And I hate it.

The people are snobbish and/or n00bish; the Guardians are shit, hypocritical, and moreso, never on; Emerald Flame is an arrogant bitch; and there are no good dreams to hang out in. Don't waste your time with this game. If you want a free, fun, online game, go play Guild Wars or something.

The game use to be great, now it just sucks, anybody know where there's any other games similar to it, but for 1: has less noobs and 2: people that actually RP?

This game rocks! If you have an imagination you can do just about anything there.

Also, to add to what Redlancer said, if your worried about children seeing such things on Furcadia, then it has parental locks which are protected by password that you can set. It's kinda funny though how some people adore it, but others hate it.

Furcadia is a wonderful game, but not one for the simple-minded. There are plenty of text-based web rpgs out there, on forumns and whatnot, that leave a little something more to be desired. Furcadia's pictures are simplistic, because they can be altered by any person. Player creatable levels known as "Dreams" can be simply made by anyone who takes a mind to. As to the lack of "Goals" each dream is run by players, who can set their own goals, create npc monsters, and etcetera. ...As for the "Sexual" part, that is strictly limited, to one area of the game, a map known as "Furrabia" Which do even enter, you have to be 18 or over. The game gives no special treatment to these, and in fact segregates them to this specific map. It's no worse than all the cyber-sex on aim

You know I can not even begin to tell you how worthless this game is.Wait this isn't a game at all,it's a chat room with graphics.On a quick glance it looks to be for children.You create a cute,bipedal animal character and go around this bright and pastel little world.You have no goals,enemies to kill,quests or anything of the sort.Basically you chat to people.This is often more trouble than it is even worth.Why?This game is filled with lunatics that confuse the game with real life and will kick you out of their dreams(player created worlds)if you try to just leisurely chat instead of taking the game seriously and pretending it is reallity.These are pathetic geeks of the lowest common denominator!Now someone must have a bad,bad life if they are going to consider Furcadia reallity.You might meet a few nice people but other than that..Then you have furn. Furn is the adult section of Furcadia and the worst of the low hang out here.These are the people you see on Jerry Springer that like to dress up like animals and do weird and perverse things.The most frightening thing is some of these people seem to truly be into bestiallity! In furn and the rest of furcadia you will see things you would never want to see.Rape fantasies,snuff fantasies,pedophiles.The staff of the game knows this and they do not care.Infact I think they favor it.When I was playing I got in a huge confrontation with a bunch of idiots calling me a racist because my description showed pride in my German heritage.It turned out they got a guardian which is a sort of moderator for Furcadia.Right infront of the guardian I get death threats and one of the sick people I was fighting with saidAll women should be raped.The guardian then told me he was going to ban me.I confronted him about the death threats to me and this sick persons rape endorsement and why they weren't banned and then he simply banned me.See something wrong with this picture?Furcadia gives prefferential treatment to rapists and other such degenerate scum.These people on this game are simply the worst of the worst and the world would be a happier place if they all contracted ebola.In short do not play this game.Parents do NOT let your children play this under any circumstance!It might look cute and family oriented at a glance but it is far,far from it.
