I haven't seen this show in decades. A pretty good detective show in its' day with a great theme song by Henry Mancini. Probably not so great to see now.

Another 30 minute piece of worthy entertainment. Gunn (Craig Stevens) was a sophisticated private eye who would take on cases where the police, given the vagaries of law-enforcement, were unable to proceed. Lieutenant Jacoby (Hershell Bernardi) played ‘Inspector Lestrade’ to Gunn’s ‘Sherlock Holmes.’ Henry Mancini’s score was groundbreaking in establishing mood and became a classic. Not at all distracting were Gunn’s regular visits with singer Edie Hart (alluring Lola Albright) at ‘Mother’s’, the nightclub where Edie performed.

This was a very stylish vehicle for Craig Stevens in a LA type private eye vehicle with an outstanding progressive jazz sound-track.

This was a 30 minute black and white series, so atmosphere and style was the reason to watch. You can't get much plot in when you only have about 22 minutes actual air time.

Stevens wore expensive clothes and had a solid gold cigarette lighter. We all smoked back then!

All I remember of this was the compelling theme music. I'll give it two stars for that.
