Atmostphere was amazing...soonerman was awesome!

It's big and it can get loud, but the place is pretty rundown. Sure, it's got a nice facade, and the new club level on the east side is pretty nice, but venture on over to the west sideline and it looks like nothing's been changed since Bud Wilkinson left Norman. Add to that awful fan amenities, and it's not really that great of a stadium.

Cool stadium. You can park nearby and across the street from the stadium is all the tailgating tents and a bar. You can hang out and watch other games before walking to the stadium. The new doner's section with the seat backs and drink holders is nice too!

Oklahoma schedules about 8 home games a year and makes it to a bowl only to get killed by a big time program.

Beautiful stadium and campus. Sits in the middle of the school making game day a big event. Lots of brick and limestone, big (84,000 plus), but intimate seating - sideline and endzone seats very close to the field.

A great stadium. The people that go to the Sooner games make it even better.

Great atmosphere, but who's idea was it to have one main road that goes in? Get there early.

Not bad, but a lot of dumb imbread hicks at the games. Most are hopped up on moonshine, so don't cross them!

As I am sure many have noticed, the detractors to our wondeful stadium and field are fans of teams that came here to beat us--but were too lightly-equipped to do so. This field has seen many great games, and it is looking better every year after the recent $100 million renovation.

If you haven't been to a game at Oklahoma lately, you should check it out. Major upgrade, like the team, since Bob Stoops arrival. Classic look and tradition hard to match. Beautiful place - loud and packed on gameday.

If there is 1 stadium that proves what college football is all about, its this one. The fans are some of the best and the stadium has hosted some of the greatest games college football has ever see. Not to mention 7 national championship teams,the game of the century, and the team who still holds the longest win streak of all time in D1. The stadium is one of the crown jewels of college football.

im not a sooners fan, but thanks oklahoma....from all of us here in tuscaloosa, thanks for beating the crap out of the 12th man. we would but we just don't ever play them. oh, yeuh and saying roll tide for a couple of minutes in the sooners-texas a&m game just added icing to the cake

i give it a 4 star because i think the stadium should go all the way around it makes it look better. if there was one maybe tenn, because it is one of the biggest stad and there's just something about it. the suckiest stadiums i think is miami, and florida if there not winning the fans desert them esp florida fans found that out last year. schools like OU, texas, nebraska, alabama people well follow them even if there losing

HIstoric college football palace. Not a bad seat in the house! Very close to the playing field, creating a loud, loud, sound. Aesthetically, very handsome - eye catching; traditional brickwork and limestone; matches historic campus gothic architecture. Great location in the middle of the campus.

Fun to be when I was at a SAFE place there. Security sucks there. Before more people entered, I was the first to see it- a red-white pattern goes all around the field. Like it! (I cannot say Love it! in Wheezie's way [Dragon Tales] as the bleacher seats are uncomfortable.)

Memories of Switzer's cheating ass ruins it from the beginning. That doesn't even take into the consideration the place sucks!

I saw Nebraska beat OU 73-21 in Norman in '96 and I didn't encounter any nasty folks at all. Perhaps, lucky. OU fans invited us to their tailgate parties and a grand time was had by all. Plus who wouldn't want to hear Boomer Sooner 125 times.

I am not sure what is so bad about the stadium. One of the loudest places I have ever been and it has a great pre-game atmosphere. Sooner fans should be proud. Plus, the team rules.

As with everything related to OU sports, it's the fans who ruin things. I went to one game at Owen Field, and had a wonderful time. They were hosting Nebraska and Nebraska beat the daylights out of them. The OU fans threw temper tantrums afterwards, destroying property. Get those spoiled brat fans out of the stadium, and it's a fairly nice place.

Sucks! Can't see, obnoxious fans, boos everywhere. Almost as bad as ugly-ass campus
