a very pretty pleasant painting. would not mind having something like this on my wall. very serene to look at. nice mix of flowers and water running through them.beautiful colors too.

Monet is probably my favorite painter overall, though van Gogh would be right up there. Where van Gogh is kind of in your face with his presentation of color, Monet's paintings are pleasing to the eye the second you look at them. His use of color is more subtle than van Gogh's, and his Water Lillies paintings are gorgeous. The colors are so vivid, yet they blend magnificently. You could look at it for hours and not find one thing unpleasing about it.
