 | hawkeyes1011 (0) 04/05/2007 | The new renovations have improved the look and I think that it now ranks up there with the best in the country! My only complaint would be that it does not have enough enough seats for the rabid hawkeye fans. I think they should add another 30,000 seats.

 | RoseBowlHawk (0) 03/20/2006 | This is THE place for college football. It may not be the fanciest or most modern, but the historic brick structure is a sanctuary for football and an imposing sight for visitors. Hawk fans are rabid, extremely loud, fiercly loyal. On Saturdays, Kinnick Stadium is transformed into a sea of black and gold. The stadium is filled to capacity regularly and the close proximity of the stands to the players and the deafening noise levels that are reached makes playing at Kinnick Stadium a nightmare for visiting teams. The atmosphere is top notch also. The Hawkeye faithful are always out in force tailgating, chatting, and preparing themselves for the game. Fans are always happy to entertain visiting fans, as long as they come in peace. Get a Hawk fan angry and you're in big trouble. Countless tailgaters are found at every turn and the aroma of burgers and brats is everywhere.
Gameday at Kinnick Stadium is the definition of what college football is. Stop by on a Saturday and you'll find out why.

 | maximumK2004 (0) 11/09/2005 | It may not look like much, but when you get 70,000 crazy hawkeye fans in there, it's hard to beat. I really like the liberal use of brick everywhere, the huge new video board on the south end, and the new press box that's coming up. Just seeing it in the construction phase was impressive.

 | hawk i (0) 01/26/2005 | Alot of new things going on for this stadium!!! Redoing the whole south endzone, widening all the seats, adding a brand new press box with skyboxes, a new 30x70 replay monitor. Great fans!!

 | ajnkwah (0) 01/26/2005 | Probably the loudest or close to it in the Big Ten. Surprising because its not the biggest. It is defiantly in my mind one of the top 15 NCAA stadiums in the nation for sure.

 | rmdane2000 (0) 12/31/2004 | This stadium has a great history and is one of THE MOST hostile to play in because of how close the fans are seated to the players...

 | jonjon87 (0) 12/26/2004 | It's just not a very nice stadium and it isn't loud enough to be ranked this high.

 | jhawks87 (0) 12/12/2004 | kinnick stadium is one of the most historic and hostile stadiums one could ever play in, and you if you think its old and cramped, go to game in the 2005 season after the 87 million dollar renovation project is done!
