The genius of this seasons casting of Survivor was Rupert vs. Jon. Good vs. Evil. The problem I have watching this is that it comes across with as much depth as professional wrestling or SpongeBob SquarePants. There was simply no reason for Jon to lie about his Grandmother's death; it simply didn't make sense. Watching it, I felt embarassed. I watch Survivor for the strategies, not watching grown men behave like cardboard cut out cartoon characters. This guy, Johnny Fairplay, was an actor pretending to be a villian on Survivor. I'm glad that he's managed to parlay his acting skills into more job opportunities.

He is hot and has a great heart! I would love to party with him!!!

In the beginning I liked him. Now I love to hate him. To be honest, I wanted him on All-Stars!

Jon was a real villian on the show, but he seems like a nice guy to talk to. The really funny thing was when he ran all over camp naked after getting loaded drunk.

I thought Jon was hilarious. Sure, he was a jerk, but would the show have been as interesting without him? Since this game isn't actually about surviving in the wilderness (who plays through challenges and gets rewards like food or pillows and blankets when actuallly stranded in the wilderness?), Jon played the game decently - he got everyone to keep him around for much longer than most people. It wasn't a good strategy for winning, because everyone hated him in the end, but he was good entertainment.

His ego is bigger than anyone I have ever seen. IMO, his attitude stinks and his personality is just plain awful.

Jon, you are without doubt the scummiest little I have ever had the misfortune to see. How can you live with yourself, and how on earth can you call yourself Johnny Fairplay? Your lie about your gramma has got to be the lowest, most loathesome act I have ever witnessed. I hope you get voted out immediately (If I'd been a player, you would have been the first one out). You think you're a great player like Rob, and but you're not. You're just a conniving little backstabber with no honor and no redeeming characteristics whatsoever. I wish you the worst of luck in all you do. When you get voted off, you will hear my cheer of joy wherever you may be.

He is a cock, but for 1 million dollars who cares, if i was in his place i would not care about anybody i have only known for 30 days i be thinking how i would be spending the the million over the next 30 years of my life.

I hated this guy....what a jerk. Someone has to see through him right - wrong. This guy deserves to be in the final 3 if for no other reason than the fact that he is playing the game. Burton is in tight there too - but the women! These women are just too stupid. The oppurtunity was there when Rupert got booted for Christa and Sandra to approach T and Darrah and allign and get rid of the other 3. Nope - too stupid to see that until it was too late. Suckered in by Jon again. Last chance to point out the obvious to the other girls that Jon and Burton were playing them but noooo - too stupid to see that. All the women want to be in the final 3 with Jon and Burton - how stupid is that. Unbelievable. So, because he is playing the game and screwing them at the same time then I feel more power to Jon. They hate him but yet they believe him - go figure!

Ugh. This odious little cretin gets worse as the weeks click by. The object of the game is to outplay, outwit, outlast not to fake your grandmother's death. That is the most objectionable thing any castaway has ever done. I cannot wait for this little jackass to get kicked off.

Jon is the most sleezy, two faced person there has been on Survivor. He better be the next to go or I quite watching.

Jon is just plain gross. What's with this stupid Fairplay crap? The only one remotely impressed with him is himself. The guy is a complete loser with a little man complex and anyone who knows him and still loves him (mom excluded) would have to be a loser as well. The only reason he is still in the game is Rupert's stupid loyalty to his own tribe and not voting against them after the merger.

I absolutely LOATH this little, AND I MEAN LITTLE thing that has the gull to even call himself a man. I have wanted him off the show since show 1! He has no physical skill, no brains, no nothing and if he were alone out there they would be planning his funeral in his home town. Survivor, yeah, whatever, he is the worst survivor PLAYER Ive seen yet! And LoneUSFullHouseFan asked it right, why in the heck do they keep him around, I have been wondering the same thing, why on earth havent they kicked him off a long time ago. I know, he is just a pawn that they need until the time is right. I would give anything to be face to face with him just to tell him what I think of him! He makes me sick!

Yes, Jon is annoying. I've known him for 11 years, but where would CBS be without him? You can't tell me he doesn't add spice to the show. Just keep watching, you'll see...

I don't think I could say it any better than zodiac already has. Jon has done nothing but get on people's nerves, and start fights. He reeks of Robb Zbotnik from Survivor 5. The worst part is he actually thinks he is funny. He isn't even that strong. Why do they keep him around?
