The Web is revolutionizing music lovers' access to new bands, and Epitonic is right at the middle of it. Is there a band playing in your neighborhood with a door charge of $10-15? If there is, chances are that band is covered on Epitonic. You can download songs (legally) by thousands of up and coming bands, read blurbs on their influences / style, and check out similar artists. I've discovered at least three of my current favorite bands this way. On a technical level, the site is pristine. It is beautifully designed, I have yet to come across a bad link, and the copy is outstanding. A fantastic, world-changing site for anyone who appreciates music that you can't find on the radio.
